Kind of shocked that the lefty American Jewish Congress is backing Bolton. I don't think they were big Bolton fans when he was first nominated and confirmed, which was about a year ago.

Can anyone out there tell me why Bolton is now coming up for re-nomination and confirmation again so soon after he was appointed to the same position a year ago? What is the legal basis for this?

Bolton will be like Moynihan, except Bolton is a Republican. So those who are concerned about the pathological anti-Semiticism at the UN will realize you don't shoot an ally.
