There are no intentions of ever supporting neo Nazism, or white supremacy by me to get points across.

I didn't think so, SA, just wanted to be sure you hadn't been hoodwinked. There are SO many groups around with SO many agendas. They will take on the coloration of the issue you care about, but all they aim for are their own purposes.

Dear panterhmom, You say that "The religion of peace being hijacked by fanatics was more believable 5 years ago, it doesn't fly anymore."

You are absolutely correct! Everywhere Islam has gone there have been holy wars - it has now come to our shores in the form of 9/11. We are being told that Islam is a religion of peace, charity and compassion. Try telling that to the Christians who have been crucified in the south of the Sudan. What we are seeing is the true face of Islam - and this business of it's being hijacked is being spread by apologists.

Consider that at one time all those countries in the Middle East - Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, were all Christian until the Christians were driven out - and those who remain continue to be persecuted - yet we roll out the red carpet when Mubarak of Egypt comes to town while he persecutes Coptic Christians without any fear of criticism. The hypocrisy is incredible.

Even if Israel did not exist, we would be having a clash of civilization.

Hey Smartass,

I've been around a while on Balkan issues (with some absences) and still I never ran across him or even knew he was on this board, so don't feel bad!

Thanks Enchi...
You know I never worry about my friends looking over my shoulder and nudging me once in awhile.   There's so much out there intertwined that it boggles the mind.   Sometimes we have to pull the plug and walk away to catch a fresh breath of air.

Most everyone is wrapped up in Iraq and Afghanistan, and rightfully so we should be. However, because of Bill Clinton's zipper problems, Bosnia and Kosovo are happening right under our very noses, in real time.   It makes no sense whatsoever for our government to give up a vital part of the world to Islamofacists, or for that matter, any part.

Sorry, the article's conclusion is beyond stupid. Europe is not Bush's to "capitulate."

No, it doesn't. And I am woefully out of the loop on the subject, and currently following the fate of Israel as best I can.

All of these hot spots ultimately intertwine and it is *supposed* to be the job of State to track it.

Actually the title is oddly worded.

But the point was that while Bush allowed the Israelis to defend themselves without interference from Islamic terrorism, Bush did not allow the Serbs in Europe from doing the same. Bush drew a line in the sand in ME, but in Europe, he has gone soft on Islamic terrorism by allowing the Kosovo & Bosnia to remain hotbeds of Islamic jihad against Christians.

I think Julia proved her point, but she should have reworded the title.

No, you're very much in the loop and maybe just don't recognize the different part of the Islamic labyrinth you're in.

I know I'm missing many dates and am out of order: But, the Lebanon U.S. Marine barracks bombing, the first world trade center bombing, the USS Cole, 9-11 bombers, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Bosnia, or Kosovo, Bali, Tanzania, it doesn't matter. The fight is always against the same usual Islaomofacist suspects, just under a different name.   And yes, ex president Bill Clinton screwed up Bosnia and Kosovo.

And contrary as posted by the lame statement in #66, the United States, as a charter member of NATO, has a great deal to say as to what is, or not is, capitulated in Europe.   The NATO presence doesn't have to continue on under the present administration.

Our President pressured Israel to give the more radical Islamists (the so-called "Palestinians") their own nation. The Islamists fired rockets into Israel and continued to cross the fence during terrorist attacks. Hezbollah intensified its terrorist campaign against Israel from Lebanon with help from Iran and Syria.

So after the Islamists backed by Iran and Syria had their own areas, they attacked Israel from more than one side with the help of the regimes that supply and train them.

There's a big difference between the intentions of Israel and the intentions of old friends of Milosevic (the SDL, for one example).

For the record, I was against any US involvement in any civil war between the fascists and the Islamists in the Balkans. The USA only became involved, because Hillary Clinton heard that mass rapes had been committed by Milosevic's people there. The attentions of feminists/goddess worshippers aren't drawn to mass murders of men, but they will get into wars over mentions of rape (one of their favorite foaming-at-the-mouth topics).

I haven't read this information elsewhere. Interesting article. I too, bought into Clinton's war.

Not me. I was for the Serbs then, and I remain for them, and support what they did, today.

The Serbs _knew_ what was at stake.
The Serbs _knew_ how Islamics treat their enemies.
The Serbs _knew_ that the only solution was to purge Islam from their midst.
The Serbs _knew_ that the only level of force and tactics that could defeat the Islamics was that level equal or greater than the Islamics would use on others.
The Serbs _used_ such force, and they stood to win.

And we bombed them into submission for knowing and understanding such realities, and for daring in their attempts to win.

It is only when the REST OF US come to grips with such realities, that we will be able to take on the cancer of Islam and excise it from the world, once and for all.

"For the record, I was against any US involvement in any civil war between the fascists and the Islamists in the Balkans."

You are absolutely right that we should have minded our own business in the Balkans, which is all I ever hoped for, for America's sake. But where did you get the idea that it was a war between "fascists and Islamists"? Do you really think that someone like Julia Gorin, a Russian Jew herself, who writes for Jewish World Review would be supporting fascists? Or Yohanan Ramati from the Jeruslaem Post, or Jared Israel who runs The Emperor's Clothes, or even the Kahane Organization ( http://www.kahane.org/discus/messages/2/341.html?990397686 )would support fascists?

By the way, my own former married name was "Goldfarb" and my cousin's married name is still "Levy". Our Serb parents never batted an eye about it.

In fact, the Serbs were the only ethnic group in the former Yugoslavia who DIDN'T have a wholesale tradition of fascism during WWII and was a US ally. (That Cohen book was a classic piece of propaganda. Fascism was even less popular among WWII Serbs than it is today in the US!) The majority of Serbs fought AGAINST the Nazis, not along side them. And for all the rhetoric and wartime propaganda, in fact, Serbia and Montenegro are still the most "muti-ethnic" countries in the area.

The "SDL" and "CompuSerb" represent the bizarre interest of one lone lunatic, trying to act like there are more like him when there aren't. The guy , Boris Prbich http://www.sdlusa.com/sdl/about_our_founder.htm , is actually in Southern CA, not Serbia and for years, most of the American Serb community has thought that CompuSerb and the SLA are some phony creation to make Serbs look bad. I will say that many Serbs were totally pissed when American Jews were manipulated into supporting the Croats, Slovenes and Muslims against the Serbs, but that was the work of the PR firm of Ruder Finn. At that kahane link above is the following quote from James Harff of Ruder Finn in an interview with Jacques Merlino in 1993:

"Harrf: For 18 months, we have been working for the Republics of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as for the opposition in Kosovo. Throughout this period, we had many successes, giving us a formidable international image. We intend to make advantage of this and develop commercial agreements with these countries. Speed is vital, because items favourable to us must be settled in public opinion. THE FIRST STATEMENT COUNTS. The retractions have no effect. .......(goes on about methods)

...Question: What achievement were you most proud of?

Harff: To have managed to put Jewish opinion on our side. This was a sensitive matter, as the dossier was dangerous looked from this angle. President Tidjman was very careless in his book "Wastelands of Historical Reality". Reading this writtings, one could accuse him of of anti- semitism.

In Bosnia, the situation was no better: President Izetbegovic strongly supported the creation of a fundamentalist Islamic state in his book "The Islamic Declaration". Besides, the Croatian and Bosnian past was marked by a real and cruel anti-semitism. Tens of thousands of Jews perished in Croatian camps. So there was every reason for intellectuals and Jewish organizations to be hostile towards the Croats and Bosnians. Our chalenge was to reverse this attitude. And we succeded masterfully.

At the beginning of August 1992, the New York Newsday came out with the affair of (Serb) concentration camps. We jumped at the opportunity immediately. We outwitted three big Jewish organizations - B'Nai Brith Anti-Defamation League, the Jewish Committee, and the American Jewish Congress. We suggested to them to publish an advertisement in the New York Times and to organize demonstrations outside the U.N.

This was a tremendous coup. When the Jewish organizations entered the game on the side of the (Muslim) Bosnians, we could promptly equate the Serbs with the Nazis in the public mind.

Nobody understood what was happening in Yugoslavia. The great majority of Americans were probably asking themselves in which African country Bosnia was situated. But, by a single move, we were able to present a simple story of good guys and bad guys, which would hereafter play itself.

We won by targeting Jewish audience. Almost immediately there was a clear change of language in the press, with the use of words with high emotional content, such as "ethnic cleansing", "concentration camps", etc. which evoked images of Nazi Germany and the gas chambers of Auschwitz. The emotional charge was so powerful that nobody could go against it.

Question: But when you did all of this, you had no proof that what you said was true. You only had the article in Newsday!

Harff: Our work is not to verify information. We are not equipped for that. Our work is to accelerate the circulation of information favorable to us, to aim at judiciously chosen targets. We did not confirm the existence of death camps in Bosnia, we just made it known that Newsday affirmed it.

Question: Are you aware that you took on a grave responsibility?

Harff: We are professionals. We had a job to do and we did it. WE ARE NOT PAID TO BE MORAL."

As for Milosevic, he was the "Al Capone" of the Balkans, but hardly "a Hitler". And he has been out of office now for years. Serbia is a democratic country and the Muslim Kosovo Albanians want to take a piece of it. Not right, never will be!

By the way, Julia Gorin also had more to say on her blog comparing the Serbs to the Israelis and Kosovo Albanians & Bosnian Muslims to Hezbollah --

July 27th 2006 05:32:51 PM
Hezbollah Employing Tactics Familiar from Bosnia and Kosovo
Posted by Julia under Republican Riot

Little Green Footballs yesterday carried a radio interview with General Lewis MacKenzie, a Canadian who served as the first UN commander in Bosnia. He related that, based on emails from one of the Canadian UN peacekeepers killed at the UN post in Lebanon, he understood Hezbollah to be using the UN post as a shield from which to fire into Israel.

The tactic is a familiar one to General MacKenzie, who has written of the Bosnian Muslims and Albanian Muslims doing the same thing Here’s the pattern, as outlined in Peter Brock’s stunning book Media Cleansing: Dirty Reporting, Journalism and Tragedy in Yugoslavia: The UN declares a safe haven, the Bosnians/Hezbollah/Albanians (fill in blank) use it to attack Serbs/Israelis/Serbs (fill in the blank), then the Serbs/Israelis respond, and the Bosnians/Lebanese/Albanians accuse them of war crimes and call for international intervention.

Fool us once (in Bosnia), shame on you. Fool us twice (in Kosovo), shame on us. At least for Israel’s sake, we won’t be fooled. But it’s too late for the Serbs, as we continue to dismember their country and cripple their security. Well America — how does it feel to be outsmarted by Bosnians and Albanians?

It's worth reading it on her site at http://republicanriot.com if you read it in the next few days because she has some really interesting links embedded (especially the McKenzie articles & interview), but it may be hard to find later because her blog moves on.

Well, in al fairness to my abject stupidity at the time, we were only seeing the horrific video coming out of the area and the liberal media slant and there wasn't a lot of information online at the time to educate rather than brainwash.
