Hey sofa! I am naughty! I'm sitting here eating ice cream (all your fault, BTW!) and can't sleep! it's summer and I have no need to get up early. I'm a lady of leisure watching HGTV! LOL
How are you doing? I see you're not in bed either!

Al Khiam, Lebanon
The yellow rectangle to the south is Kiryat Shmona, Israel. The yellow square to the north is Marjayoun, Lebanon. The dashed line is the Israel-Lebanon border.

Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah speaks on Hezbollah's al-Manar television Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in this image taken from TV. Nasrallah said Wednesday that Israel's two-week-long military offensive against Lebanon was linked to a U.S.-Israeli plan for 'a new Middle East,' a term used repeatedly by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during her just concluded visit to the region. The Shiite cleric also vowed that his fighters would now begin firing rockets deeper into Israel, beyond the northern port city of Haifa which has suffered under hundreds of Hezbollah barrages. Writing on the blue background reads: 'Sheikh Nasrallah: All those who came with American dictates presented no compromises or solutions for the crises.' |

Loudspeaker people, lol. I coulda said "Hot Lips Houlihan," but the short list of war people whose names you might hear over the loudspeaker didn't come to me fast enough. I quite liked "Morning Becomes Allegra," however.
So, aad neh!

Thong pjs? I'm going to have to turn my screen on mute now!
He is seriously going back? I really thought he wouldn't. No way to talk him into postponing it until safer times? I would be screaming into the phone. Of course, I'm prone to screaming and screeching.

i still think it's stupid to have peacekeepers standing next to the Hizbullah in the middle of a war zone.

peacekeepers? They've been there for 28 years...and have passed information and intelligence to Hezbollah....28 years and no peace...I think that qualifies their mission as a failure...
What got under my skin was Kofi "The Thief" Annan's statement that it was intentional. That really Pee'd me off.

You are picking up on the Arabic far too quickly. LOL
BTW - the "aad" must be pronounced very gutterally - almost like "odd."

"Sir Peter Tapsell, a Tory MP, said Tuesday that British Prime Minister Tony Blair was "colluding" with U.S. President George W. Bush in giving Israel the okay to wage "unlimited war" in Lebanon - a war crime he claimed was "gravely reminiscent of the Nazi atrocity on the Jewish quarter of Warsaw."
A knighted idiot...Sir Peter, were the Jews in the Warsaw getto aiding, abetting and sheltering a terrorist organization? Or was their crime simply being Jewish? Like the Israeli's crime, you anti-Jew!
The difference is that the Nazis targeted Jews in the Warsaw Getto. Hezbollah is targeting Jews in Israel. Sir Petter is targeting Jews because he is no different to the anti-Jews in Hexbollah.
I would venture to suggest that my anology is far more appropraie than his monstrosity of a statement.

Alot of people think that Calley's, "In order to pacify the village it was neccesary to destroy it" is oxymoronic. I don't think so.
