Today, President Bush welcomed Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki in the Oval Office at the White House, and together they held a joint press availability in the East Room, speaking of a plan to increase the military presence and quell the violence in Baghdad.
Later today, the President met with Minni Arcua Minnawi, the Sudan Liberation Army (SLA) leader in the Oval Office to discuss the Darfur region in western Sudan.

Yes, it is a gift, a talent, and yet invisible to his detractors.

I've never seen such a dichotomy between perception (of detractors) and reality (who he really is) in my life.
He is a man of unquestioned strength and character, of morality and decency, of love of others and love of country..........yet the left hates him (one even called him demon possessed in an editorial!), and even some on the right (here on FR) despise him, and haven't got a clue about who he really is.
As Yul Brynner might say..........'tis a puzzlement.

As we have said so often I am convinced it is demonic how else can you explain the hatred of a basically good and kind man who wants to bring freedom and prosperity to the world.

Bush Derangement Syndrome is a true phenomenon.
Chris Matthews was weird on Imus this morning - Hugh Hewitt played the audio tonight - Chris has hypnotized himself into believing that Bush is stupid, does not understand history, etc. and is a puppet of Cheney. If you have a chance to see or hear the transcript it is quite revelatory of the inside of Matthew's brain.

Exactly snugs. Hating a good and decent man who wants to free others from oppression and keep the world safe is an indication of a deep spiritual problem in oneself.
Good night...........I'm not far behind you!

"...humble..." great word & great way to be!
Take care!
To: maica
Can you point me to the transcript?
I've watched with interest as Chrissy has turned from a semi-reasonable man (in 2000) into a frothing at the mouth, raving lunatic.
He is the poster boy for BDS, in my opinion. He's literally lost his mind over this President.

We're doing a gig on Dolly's singles' thread about what makes a marriage work, so we were making a list as we walked.
(And I think walking together may be on that list. LOL!)

Yep, it's a hot one this summer! Do you have Air conditioning? I also suspect its very humid as well, which just makes it miserable.
It was 107 degrees here on Sunday. I had a professional event, so I had to dress up, jacket and all. Needless to say, pantyhose and I are not on speaking terms at the moment. ; ).
To: ohioWfan
Feeling much better, thanks!
There are indeed battles raging everywhere in this world! Just skirmishes here. That's what I have to remember.
I'm ready to be back in the fray. In fact, I missed the fray. : D.
Hope all is well with you and yours.
