Taking Mayor Bloomberg's view one step further, Sen. John McCain warned that the American economy would collapse if 11 million illegal aliens are sent packing.
"What are we going to do with 11 million people?" McCain asked at a dinner at the New York Yacht Club......... "You going to send 'em all back? Mayor Bloomberg testified at a hearing last week that the economy of New York City would collapse [without illegal immigrants]. I would argue the economy of America would collapse."
The Arizona Republican is co-sponsor of a bill....that would provide for a guest-worker program and a path to citizenship for many illegal immigrants.

How sad that our own elected officials have such a low opinion of us common folk. I'll tell you what, if I had to bite the bullet temporarily so that I could have MY country back, I'd do it in a heartbeat!!! Besides, all the doom and gloom these idiots talk about is just rhetoric. My gosh, have the illegals moved ANYWHERE in this country and contributed anything other than crime and slum conditions??? I think not. I live with it everyday here in Atlanta, there are areas of town that I refuse to go to, the schools are sinking faster than the Titanic and quite frankly I hate feeling like I live in a 3rd world country. The fact that this is even up for debate is a disgusting. Our elected officials should be ashamed of themselves, obviously they take the job for no other reason than to enrich themselves. Maybe they should be forced to study the constitution and be tested before you're allowed to run for office. They seem to forget we are a country of laws.
Gee, McCainiac, seems to me we survived the Great Boycott just fine without them. Maybe you should have them do it again. We'll give them a makeup test. See if they can screw the American economy better then their first abysmal failure.

Suppose, Mr. Bloomberg, there were 11 million rapists.
Would you say, "What are we going to do with 11 million rapists? Lock them all up?"
If you don't stop criminals - and these ARE criminals who have broken our immigration laws, in the future, Mr. Bloomberg, you will have 22 million illegal aliens.
This guys continues to be a complete disgrace. Amnesty will raise the artificially low wages that the illegals are paid and corrupt any cost advantages they held. The illegals have but one effect on the economy, a negative one. Lock the border and kick their parasitic asses out.

The number of laws being violated by the illegal invasion have yet to be tallied---but the goobers in Congress could care less.

Do these crackpots realize how stupid this argument is? They're saying we need people working for what is in effect - SLAVE WAGES.
Then to argue that we need to legalize these 'slaves' - who then WON'T work for the previously paid SLAVE wage makes the argument 'stupider'. As that would mean we need to 'import' more SLAVES to work for the less than minimum wage - which the now 'legal slave' won't do. Just like those "Lazy Americans" we hear so much about.
Their whole stance on illegals is an argument based on circular idiocy.
They'd be better of just proposing the repeal the 13th Amendment and saying we need slaves to survive and be done with it.
