A woman who won the Nobel Peace Prize 30 years ago drew applause from Australian schoolchildren today by saying she'd like to kill President Bush.
"I have a very hard time with this word 'non-violence,' because I don't believe that I am non-violent," said Betty Williams, 64, according to the Australian newspaper. "Right now, I would love to kill George Bush."
The audience at Brisbane City Hall mostly schoolchildren clapped and cheered, the paper said. The event was the Earth Dialogues forum.
"I don't know how I ever got a Nobel Peace Prize, because when I see children die the anger in me is just beyond belief. It's our duty as human beings, whatever age we are, to become the protectors of human life."
Williams was awarded the prize for circulating a petition to end violence in Northern Ireland after witnessing British soldiers shoot dead a member of the Irish Republican Army. The IRA member veered on to a footpath, killing two children from one family instantly and fatally injuring a third.
The former receptionist now heads the World Centers of Compassion for Children International, a non-profit group working to create a political voice for children.
Wrapping up the three-day forum yesterday, delegates agreed to a 26-point action plan, the Australian reported.
"There can be no sustainable peace while the majority of the world's population lives in poverty," they said. "There can be no sustainable peace if we fail to rise to the global challenge presented by climate change. There can be no sustainable peace while military spending takes precedence over human development."
The lesson: When Irish eyes are smiling, watch out! The Irish in Ireland are not our friends.
Ironically, if this idjit had her way, more and more innocents would die.
Such is the way with the "peacenik" imbeciles.
I have heard that a Nobel Prise comes with a substantial amount of money. Wht doesn't she give some of that money to those who are living in poverty if she is so concerned? By giving I mean wakl up to the individual, take the money from her pocked and place it into their hand.
Most likely right after he nukes Israel.

They obviously have public schools in Australia, and the kids have been appropriately brain-washed. I wonder if they have learned about Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Arafat, terrorists, Kim Jong Il, Kim Il Sung, and the rise and fall of the USSR. I wonder if they have learned that a couple of hundred million people have been murdered or starved to death by the above vermin. Or about the United States saving the world from heinous, bloody killers and dictators, repeatedly.
Isn't that considered enough of a threat to justify criminal action against her by our State Department?

No, because it was made against President Bush. If it had been made against Bill Clinton, there would be action taken.
One would wish that such critical information would be included in a report that includes the event as a matter of fact and credentials.
" round of applause from Australian schoolchildren "
pretty much says it all, Australian school children and American liberals are of one mind
Unless it's the President's life, I guess.
Interesting insight into the warped minds of the left: they won't believe in God, yet they get mad when man isn't God.
The Secret Service has added a new name to their watch list, count on it.
OUR State Department?
Surely, you jest?
Don't you realize that (while they would never admit same) there are many in OUR State Dept. who are silently admitting "atta girl" and agreeing with her.
I would give 10 - 1 odds, that if requested, she would be granted a visa to visit the US (by OUR State Dept.) and only a firestorm of protest, probably by Secret Service, would cause them to "reconsider."
OUR State Dept. (has been for the past 60 or so years--maybe longer) and unfortunately, will always probably be, an enclave for libs and outright Socialists who work more against the interest of the US and for those who would do us harm.
And people wonder why kids kill. With "adults" like this in their lives, it's a wonder we don't have more Columbine situations.
Well the Secret Service usually takes a dim view of people threatening the President, even if said in jest. Wonder why they haven't knocked on her door yet?
Betty Williams, 64, sounds like a who&& and a terrorist but then that is the type of people who get the NPP just like Jimmy Carter.
Mom never liked you best
Communist Party of Australia?
"I don't know how I ever got a Nobel Peace Prize"
Probably because they are such good experts at selecting murderous lunatics of the left who share the same passions as they do:
"I would love to kill George Bush."
[Can the Nobel Committee vote to strip the winner of her award?
They could, but it seems the Nobel Committee is enamored with leftist of her ilk, thus the Peace Prize has become an utter joke.]
Absolutely. The left wing socialist fascists control the Nobel Peace Prize recipients and they are always closet facists who hate and lie, steal and murder those of the human race who don't follow their arrogance.
Not only are they evil, they take pleasure in those that do evil. The brainwashed left wing socialist is not a freethinker and definitely is cruel under their hypocritical mask of love for others. Go figure.
I disliked President Clinton more than I've disliked someone in a very long time, but I can't remember ever wanting to kill him or even wanting someone else to. The left is so amazing!
