They start by spinning the provable facts to shift the blame -- "My guy's dog bit you only because your parakeet made ugly faces at him."
In case that doesn't fly, they spin the law to exempt their client -- "My guy's not a "sovereign state," so his dog can bite anyone he wants to bite."
In case "world opinion" has a problem with that, though, they just lie -- "I don't see any injury. That's not a dog bite. Anyway, my guy's dog is a good dog, and doesn't bite. Besides that, my guy doesn't have a dog -- that was his religious advisor, and he's, like, 'peaceful,' you know."
If worse comes to worst, though, it was all your fault -- "We have a witness who saw you beg the dog to bite you. Everyone knows no dog can resist biting a fat guy, anyway, especially an ugly one. At the moment 30 VLCCs (Very Large Crude Carrier) and ULCCs (Ultra Large Crude Carrier) are anchoring outside the island Khark in the Persian Gulf. Last week the country reiterated its intentions to continue the nuclear programme but would not disclose the reason for chartering tankers for crude oil storage. The country is either preparing for war or just speculating on the oil price.

Khark Island, located 483 kilometers from the mouth of the Persian Gulf and about 25 kilometers off the coast of Iran, was the principal sea terminal until bombed by the Iraqis in 1985 and 1986; it had been the world's largest offshore crude oil terminal. Export of refined products then reverted to the terminal at Bandar-e Mashur in southwestern Iran, which had been used before the construction of the Khark Island installation.
The availability of new oil terminals allowed Iran to expand its oil production. In the 1960s, crude was sent to Abadan, then exported from Abadan and Bandar-e Mashur. The construction of the Khark Island terminal to export crude oil permitted use of Bandar-e Mashur exclusively for product exports. Some 95 percent of the crude oil came from the producing fields of Agha Jari, Karenj, Marun, Pariz, Bibi Hakimeh and Ahvaz.
During the 1980s, the Khark Island terminal continued to be responsible for 80 percent of oil exports. Khark Island had two terminals, one on a jetty and the other on a small island off the west coast of the island. The first was a complete complex, and the second was used for quick loading of ships. The jetty was bombed by Iraq to disrupt Iran's main shipping point in early 1985 and again more heavily in September 1985. Shipments were slowed at the jetty, and the island terminal section was devastated.
Aside from Bandar-e Mashur, other export facilities were developed both inside and outside the Persian Gulf. To reduce the threat from Iraq, facilities were expanded at the port of Jask, located just outside the Persian Gulf on the Gulf of Oman, and Sirri Island became an alternative loading point. A petroleum shuttle was initiated between Khark and Sirri islands, and Khark Island continued to export most of the country's oil until additional Iraqi bombing in January 1986. Reduced exports remained possible through the use of the shuttle service to Sirri Island, with its floating terminal for storage and reloading. The August 1986 bombing of shuttle tankers to Sirri and the resulting increase in insurance rates, however, prevented even this level of exports. Because the pipelines for Khark converge at a pumping station at Ganaveh (about forty kilometers northeast of Khark on the Gulf) before going underwater, Ganaveh replaced Khark as the western terminus of the oil shuttle to Sirri Island in the mid-1980s.

On July 20, Abercrombie voted “No” on House Resolution 921 that his fellow Congressmen overwhelmingly approved by 410-8, and the Senate passed unanimously, which summed up by America’s Pro-Israeli Lobby, “strongly backing Israel’s right to self-defense and condemning Hezbollah and Hamas—and their sponsors Iran and Syria—for launching unprovoked acts of war against the Jewish State…and for Hezbollah to be disarmed and for the full weight of American financial, diplomatic, and economic sanctions to be imposed on Syria and Iran.”
KSSK Radio’s popular morning talk show host Michael Perry asked Abercrombie during a rare live interview on Friday why he did not back the seemingly common sense resolution.
Abercrombie said he did not want to back a resolution that “cheered” on Israel without substance. He claimed during this interview with Perry that he has been supportive of Israel with his other votes.
However, a quick check of Abercrombie’s voting record over the last few years tells a different story."

This lawyer, these people, are beyond absurd. They are surreal.
As far as I'm concerned, we could have left all of them over there. They were stupid to be there in the first place. There have been State Dept. warnings for years, one as recently as May, to stay out of Lebanon and if you go, be sure to register. No military, no cruise line, no passing cargo ship should risk their lives and crew for morons such as these. Then these ex-pats want to sue. F' them and their braindead jackass of a lawyer.

Human Rights Watch is a commie org. Why our government lets these assholes in any war zone is beyond me. It's sort of like not cleaning the Justice and State Depts. of the Clinton people.

But inaccurate Katyushas, infinitely more powerful than a grenade, are lobbed by the thousands into heavily civilian-populated Israeli cities, such as Haifa and the resort towns along the coast. But those are no problem to Human Rights Watch. In fact, this guy was interviewed on the radio the other day, and he actually said that the Katyushas weren't nearly as deadly as the Israeli munitions because they aren't launched at any particular target. I guess Israelis aren't a target.
The hypocrisy and spin is mind-numbing.
I have been profoundly disappointed with FNC regarding its coverage of this war. And Shep is a drama queen.That is all.
The MSM of course is covering it just from their perspective.

I would just like to add to this thread:
God's speed to the Israeli Army. I hope they all come home safe and sound. And, more importantly, I hope they kill every single last terrorist in Lebanon and Gaza, and then start on Syria and Tehran.
It's time this happened, and it is time that it is also ratcheted up a few notches.
I hope that they get Nasrallah someday soon. I would so very much like to be there. I was honorably discharged from the IDF after serving a small stint because of my age, but I would jump at the chance to help now if they called me. And if I were the one to get Nasrallah, I would make his screams echo throughout the world, without even broadcasting them, to make the bastards who support him literally crap in their pants for fear of what I'd do to them next. I'd do it to make all those stupid "humanitarian" commie groups literally blow their stacks so that I could laugh and jeer at them. They're scum. They defend scumbags and they deserve the same fate as terrorists.
