US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice salutes a US Marine as she walks towards a helicopter upon her departure from Beirut after meeting with Lebanese officials.
Lol. I'm stuck with CNN here and they just got done tooting their own horn saying. No one can touch our coverage.
I can say honestly since I lost access to FOX my ability to get coverage on this situation has been significantly degraded.
The best coverage is right here.
I love Mike Tobin but that thick neck is just ugly to me. A nice build is...uh...nice, but overdone it is a turnoff for me. I often wonder if he can touch his elbows to his sides.
What do you mean toned down?
For some reason, Sheppy keeps saying that they HAVE to be Muslims...
NO..I think it has to be a "christian" country/countries...who are NOT going to get involved in a "religious" debate.
OR....Bush could order the Congress to go do it...I like THAT idea.
If he is toned down, it is temporary. Give shep time and a live camera and he'll have enough rope.
not sure what to make of this but i saw this posted on another board and it may be relevant
News from the Saudi Border 7/25/2006 3:43:25 PM
I saw this go across the screen on Al Jazeera:
ÇáÕáíÈ ÇáÃÍãÑ íÞæá Åä ËãÉ ÞÑðì áÈäÇäíÉ áÇ ÊÕá ÅáíåÇ ÇáãÓÇÚÏÇÊ
"Saudi army and air force are on alert and many of the fighter jets have been moved to TABOUK in the north of the country."
That isn't an exact translation, I'm still learning my arabic so forgive me if I missed a word or two
Of course we need to consider the source (Al Jazerra), but any activation of military forces in the region needs to be monitored closely at this point
I think he was an admirer of Baghdad Bob.
Kofi Annan wanting an investigation whether the Israelis did it on purpose...
BUT, BUT, KOFI...these are peacekeepers standing around a warzone, FGS....whose fault is it that there were there to begin with?? hhmmmmmmmmmmm?/
Could be a softening. He didn't repeat the demand for an unconditional cease-fire and a prisoner exchange. This language gives him a little more 'wiggle room'.
Yoni on the Hugh Hewitt show claiming that 120 Hizbollah fighters were killed along with that senior Hizbollah leader.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttttttttttttttttttt!
ROFL!!!
Like i said . . . this is Al Jazeera so take with a grain of salt, but considering the US military hardware in their hands, an eyebrow or two in the intelligence community may be lifted and they may be wondering why they are scrambling a bunch of fighters to that base
