I never liked ANY of this guy's TV programs, but he has Bush and his administration down pat.
Bush is the President who, like his father, turned victory into defeat. There should NEVER be another Bush in the White House.
Until the beginning of Bush's first term, things OSTENSIBLY looked great for us and the conservative cause in America - which MOST Americans still subscribe to. But we were sandbagged by the man we elected, believing he was going through with that agenda.
Instead, we learned to our regret that "compassionate conservative" meant "Democrat Light."
There were uncomfortable signals in the first term. The McCain-Feingold bill and scrapping the First Amendment. The promise to sign the "Assault Rifle" law. The failure to retailiate in Biblical proportions against the Fallujah killers of those American contractors. The constant mantra about Isdlam being a "peaceful" religion. Norman Minetta's goons frisking old European-American women at airports intead of Islamic types. Colin Powell as Secretary of State, Tom Ridge and his color chart as Director of Homeland Security, and birdbrain Chrissie Whitman as Director of the EPA. Not to mention, holding over Clintonian appointments like the head of the FBI.
After Bush's re-election, he let out all the stops - Harriet Miers, Alberto Gonzales, the continual indifference to public outrage over our southern border collapse.
Great article. Analysis right on target.
It's "President Bush", A$$HOLE.
Don't write him off. A lot can happen before January 20, 2009.
Unfortunately there will always be a bush in the white house. Hell Bill and Senior are best friends now who would of thought.
We were a little more than SANDBAGGED but I agree with your post
It seems the 'Axis of Kooks' is also beginning to emerge, here on the FR front.
