The correspondant on Fox is reporting on an important battle going on in Lebanon. He said Hizbellah seems to be deciding to make a stand near a small town and a "pitched, important battle" is going on right now. They are showing pictures of the war overhead.
"The palestinians would turn South Lebannon, which is some of the most beautiful country in that region into what looks like everything else they occupy, a garbage dump."
What have the Palestians got to do with it?

They'll be easier to pick off that way.
I love the idea of an "Islamic Sacred State". It makes a convenient target for glassification in the event of the next terror attack on the US.

You are right. I incorrectly ID'd the reporter. It was CNN. At the risk of another goof, I would have to say Miles O'Brien.

I hate Hezzba-LAH. It's just wrong on several levels. It sounds kind of nice, for one thing and they're not. It also, as you point out, obscures the word "allah", the moon god.
They usually behave but last night, there were lots of timeouts between the young tabby fella and the maine coon. I feel like a referee sometimes.

There are so many reporters over there, it's hard to keep them all straight. I did notice that Christiane stopped wearing her hamas type scarves this time out. I wonder if that was ordered by CNN. Christiane is scarf-berka free. She is over there with Cooper or O' Brien, I can't remember who I saw her with last night.
