Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza's reign as the new Miss Universe got off to a rocky start when the 18-year-old from Puerto Rico fainted briefly after winning the crown.

Forty minutes into her reign as Miss Universe, Miss Puerto Rico Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza collapsed during a post-pageant news conference and was rushed offstage on Sunday night. Pageant officials immediately said the lithe 5-foot-9 18-year-old was all right and had fainted.
"She's OK. She's fine," pageant representative Lark Anton told Reuters. "She got dizzy. Its very hot up here. Her dress is tight - as you could see it was beaded and heavy. She passed out."

She really is skinny. She's a beautiful girl but there's too much rib showing.

For some reason the latest style is skinny and all teeth. look at Julia Roberts , she is teeth fron ear to ear . In my book Julia Roberts is no beauty at all. This lady is pretty enough , but a bit too skinny for my taste.

I was watching the opening of the pageant and Miss TNT immediately caught my eye.
She should have won. But Miss PR was my second choice, big teeth and all.
