The roots of Western civilization are primarily Judeo-Christian and Greco-Roman. If you want to create a new entity, Eurabia, encompassing Europe, Turkey and the Arab world, you need first to establish that this cultural entity isn’t “new” at all, but has always existed. The way to do this is to establish that Islam is a natural and integral part of Western civilization. You need to imprint in the minds of the people that yes, Muslims and Christians can indeed live peacefully together, as we did in the glorious days of Andalusia. Not only can we live with Muslims, we actually owe Muslims gratitude for helping us create the scientific achievements of the modern West. Thus we have the twin foundational myths of Eurabia.

To paraphrase Roland in the Dark Tower book series, "We have forgotton our fathers' faces."

Turkey is European culturally. its direct predecessor, the Ottoman Empire, was readily acknowledged as European.

And if you want to also do the same in America one phrase comes to mind. Something about "my cold dead hands...".

The Judeo-Christian base of thought and civilization in Europe was unalterably changed in the Thirty Years War.

At the end they agreed to the existence of independent nation states where the "ruler" would select the religion, if any, as well as the hymns in the church prayer books.

Fortunately America had just been discovered, the Indians were dieing off rapidly (from disease, not Spaniards and guns), and people who didn't care for the new system could go off into the forests and wilderness in a New World and force each other into profound conformity.

Ironically, it fell upon America (and UK) to "save the Jews" from the Europeans.

And someone says that if you know enough stuff about something you can predict the future.

We have. The West as a whole took the wide road to ruin. For the most part, there is not the population to turn back now, and the biggest hope is that Western civilization will survive in some sort of hiding place until the time is right again. Much like the Irish monks preserved a remnant, hopefully somewhere one will be preserved.

Because Europe and probably North America will soon pass into a dark age.

Myth #1 is that the Arabs created anything that was of use to civilization. The Arabs borrowed from Persian, Byzantine, Greek, Assyrian, Hindi, and other sources. They translated from the original languages into Arabic. When this learning made its way into Europe, it was mistakenly deemed to be "Arabic."
The only inventions the Arabs can be credited with are the inverted "v" camel saddle and the fogara (a kind of laterally-dug well that is self-charging). It is even doubtful that the fogara are actually Arabic in origin, but I will grant them it for the sake of argument.
