Imad Mugniyah helped to plan the 1983 Marine barracks attack in Beirut, which killed 241 U.S. servicemen. According to the testimony of an al-Qaeda member, Mugniyah met with Usama bin Laden in the 1990s. Mugniyah has been linked to the al-Qaeda-affiliated group, Monotheism and Jihad. In addition, Imad Mugniyah works closely with elements of the Iranian intelligence apparatus.
Imad Mugniyah has a long history of collaboration and operations with terrorist entities. During the Lebanese civil war in the 1970s, Mugniyah trained with al-Fatah. When the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and its affiliated al-Fatah were expelled from Lebanon by Israeli forces, Mugniyah joined Hezbollah and quickly rose to a prominent position in the terrorist operation. Today, Imad Mugniyah is the key planner of Hezbollah’s worldwide terrorist operations and planning.
Mugniyah has been indicted for: conspiracy to commit aircraft piracy, to commit hostage taking, to commit air piracy resulting in murder, to interfere with a flight crew, to place a destructive device aboard an aircraft, to have explosive devices about the person on an aircraft, and to assault passengers and crew; air piracy resulting in murder; air piracy; hostage taking; interference with flight crew; and placing explosives aboard aircraft; placing destructive device aboard aircraft; assault aboard aircraft with intent to hijack with a dangerous weapon and resulting in serious bodily injury; and aiding and abetting.
This indictment stems from Izz-al-Din’s participation in the planning and execution of the June 14, 1985 hijacking of a commercial airliner. The hijacking resulted in the death of one U.S. citizen as well as the assault of various passengers and crew members.
I spent most of my military time tracking Russian nuke boats. They were our enemy then and as far as I am concerned they are STILL our enemy. They are colluding with the terrorist groups, Iran, etc.
