Yeah, that little girl signed off with "it's unbelievable that this is going on and the whole world isn't doing anything about it."
Well guess what, child. Lebanon had YEARS to do something about the cancerous growth of Hezbollah and didn't. So why should the world care about your butts?
It's like America expecting Italy to come over here and eradicate the Mafia. Our country, our problem.
Y' know, regarding travel warnings, when I went to the Philippines (3 times) there were travel warnings out, then too. Made sure I researched the heck out of it & was going to safe areas (my wife-to-be made pretty darn sure of that too!) Can't say I was TOTALLY safe, what city is, but sure wouldn't have been crying to our gov't if something had happened. By comparison, you couldn't get me to go to Lebanon (before all this happened) for anything, unless it was to get my wife out of there.
Could the person who posted it help you? Without looking, I have forgotten what the original ? was. Who is getting old? lol
LOL!
She is still running fever- I spent a lot of the day just hloding her as she slept....
otherwise- I would be tempted to join you in combat...
Sandwishes, mothballs, and beer.....ALL DELIVERED!

*monkapotamus chortles
rofl.
Here's a piece dated June 8 2000 from the Anti-defamation league...
Right on the money about what was going to happen...
Prime Minister Ehud Barak is riding on a wave of public support for what President Clinton termed his "daring" pulling out of Lebanon. For the vast majority of Israelis, Lebanon was a swamp of attrition in which the IDF was bogged down for little gain and much loss. Naturally, there are still fears, especially in the northern towns and villages, as to whether the pullout may have done no more than to bring Hizbullah terrorism right into Israel's borders. Some analysts suggest that Syria and Iran will over time make sure that there will be no peace in northern Israel. Time will tell, but there are reasons for optimism. Aside from the official Syrian response that indicates that it has no interest in goading Israel into conflict, the fact that the civilian population that had formerly inhabited Israel's security zone in Lebanon was encouraged to return overwhelmingly by the Lebanese and the Syrian authorities, would indicate that they have no intention of allowing Hizbullah to use the area as a platform for violence against Israel, risking the latter's retaliation as a result.
ROFLLLL!!!!
PERFECT!
Nah, they caught on to that at about six.
These days, I have to give them cash.
HMMMMMM...well, well, well...it seems both the lawyer and John Gibson were wrong.
That is about a detailed warning as one could want. My goodness, did you read the details about south Lebanon, Bekaa Valley, South Beirut---and Hezbollah??
It is like the description of what has played out this last 2 and a half weeks.
THANK you so much, I don't know how I can repay you for finding and posting this.
You are terrific.
ROFL YES!
Please check post #1409....look what daybreakcoming posted for us!
Israeli innocent civilians have had bullseyes on them- blown up in buses, pizza parlors, etc for the past 6 years (not to mention throughout all of history)- so where was she crying about something being done then?
WHERE HAS SHE BEEN?
and she wasn't challenged. she's OK with south lebanon being turned into a terrorist rocket launcher base, so long as it buys Beirut "cover" to develop into a tourist hot spot, using iranian cash.
Is that part of the Scientoligist teachings?
LOL!
what ever works!
