Now he's arguing with the ambassador, calling him a liar -- "He knows that's not the reality on the ground," that the people of southern Lebanon just love Hezbollah, and "the folks on the ground" universally blame Israel for this conflict.

You know...I consider what Israel is doing in Lebanon, OUR war also..because Hezbollah want us dead also...so anything they do to them, helps us.
Therefore, when I hear anyone saying they don't know if Israel can win...it is like hearing the dems say that WE can't win in Iraq..
Israel could beat Hezbollah tomorrow if they wanted to...but, like us, they are trying to preserve a budding democracy in Lebanon..for THEIR (Israels) sake...just like we are trying to create a democracy in Iraq for OUR sake.

Yes -- he took on Amb. Ginsberg yesterday, and Amb. Ayalon (Israeli Ambassador the the U.S.) tonight. It was pretty in-your-face, enough so that our boy seems to have made it his mission to "correct" any pro-Israeli statements he hears.

Not all " a little too obsessed with gambling ". My wife's from Cebu: Oldest city in RP, relatively conservative. I took her to the Electronics Show in Vegas one year: She liked the rides and cool places, but doesn't really want to go back: Casinos & ritzy places have little attraction for her. But, then again, she says it's hard to find a good responsible man, there in RP.
But, hey, maybe there's hope on the trade imbalance -- as the Chinese get rich off us, we need to lure them (rich ones) to Vegas!!! Gee, are we off topic...
