Senator John Kerry quickly issued a statement Friday blasting Rush Limbaugh for asserting during his Friday broadcats that "liberals have hated Israel for the longest time and want to destroy it." Here it is:
"Rush Limbaugh’s ignorance and willingness to divide Americans knows no bounds. His latest statement about Israel is beyond offensive to all of us who have fought to protect Israel in the face of enemies committed to its destruction.
"Rush Limbaugh needs to pick up a history book instead of a donut. It was a Democratic president who first recognized the State of Israel. It was a Democratic President who first sold Israel defensive weapons. And it was a Democratic President who first sold Israel offensive weapons.
"The people of Israel and the Jewish community don’t need Rush Limbaugh to tell them who stands with them, and no one has time for right wing trying to score cheap political points while Israel fights to defend its very existence."
Peas in a pod... Bill O'Reilly had this to say about liberal Jews and Israel. It sounded familiar -- and then it hit me: Rush!

Well I thank New Yorker 77 for posting it. I've been away for the weekend and I hadn't seen this. There really are Freepers who are reading this for the first time.

I really don't mean to come off like a wet blanket...but that's really not the point. If new yorker 77 had searched properly, he would have found the two other articles that were posted and put his comments there, bumped the thread, and others like you would see it and add your comments to the existing threads.
I brought the whole thing up to help NY77 for future reference. When you search, you just don't search the name of the article you're reading....you search for key words or names.
There just no need to have three or four threads on the same subject. I don't think I'm alone in this...it's just kinda FR protocol.

Here's a clue, when you see an article posted that has been posted before and you don't want to discuss it try not clicking on it. You may not be aware of it but you have to actually click on an article to read it.
new yorker is well within his rights to post this article, the rules are clear about time limits between repost and this fits into that criteria.There is also ample evidence some people have not discussed this before and wish to comment.
So I suggest that you don't read articles you have already read and commented on(by the aforementioned method of NOT clicking on them) and that will save you from having the urge to play posting police and harassing a fellow FReeper.

Well so far as Rush "picking up a donut" (and why have we not heard from the millions of overweight and obese Americans who should be rightly offended by Kerry's ad hominem attack on a man who in fact has LOST a considerable amount of weight over the past several years?), if Rush wants to pick up a donut, we can be assured that he is paying for that donut with money he has earned fair and square due to his hard work as America's premier conservative voice, and he ISN'T paying for that donut with money he managed to lay his hands on from marrying a multimillionaire, gin-soaked heiress who allows her millions to be used to fund terrorist groups like Hezbullocks and other America-hating organizations like TERESA HEINZ-KERRY does!
Rush Limbaugh is his own man.
John Kerry has his manhood (assuming there was any to begin with) sealed away in his wife's lockbox, where his Dingle and his Norwood haven't seen air in years.
Bottom line? Kerry is an ignorant, arrogant, PUTZ!
