#339, some things never change, it is bad enough that they tax,and regulate all the good Industry out of Central and Western NY,now they want to trash the Pristine environment so it will look as yukky as NY City. starting way back in Rockefeller's time that have heavily taxed upstate and Central NY to the benefit of the Subway riders in NYCity. That is why Hillary was able to win over some of the poor unfortunates there with her lies on top of lies on her useless listening tour. She promised the world and has brought nothing but more Business closings, and more tax and regulations. It will only get worse once Spitzer is the Governor. With Clinton,Schumer, and Spitzer, there will be an even bigger Exodus than there is now.
I think he will too but what will happen if the best man ever doesn't get approved?

I wonder. Could the Senate Repbs nuke a Bolton fillibuster? Go for the rule change that makes a Confimation a straight up or down vote?
There ARE some conservative environmental groups, you just don't hear much about them.
Nobody wants dirty air or water. It's not a matter of being a good environmental steward, it's a matter of overreacting to environmental issues to the point of the absurd. Arsenic in water limits, that Bush repealed after Clinton tried to sneak it through, is a good example. Arsenic is there normally and the amount causes no harm to man or beast. But, Democrats started in with claims of our trying to poison people to make it an issue. Democrats, and leftists everywhere, could care less about economic viability of their positions, they want to force compliance on everyone on their issues.
But.. but... "Cryin' Voinovitch" is now a fan... could he be the only convert?

Clinton promised 200,000 new jobs for upstate NY back in 2000. I think we lost about 200,000 since 2000. Spitzer declared war on big business and won. A liberal judge declared that the rest of the state must increase funding to NYC schools by about 6 or 7 billion dollars. Oh and you Yankee fans, the Yankees have not won a world series since Clinton became a NY senator :)

The lady in my story, who ended up getting fired by the way although not because of me. Turns out she did a really lousy job in her new job. But anyway, SHE didn't have the WAPO and NYTIMES out promoting her lies.
Which, again, go with me here, makes the obstacles more formidable.
Perhaps I am an optimist but bear with me. Better to be a that than a dour naysayer.
First, we have September 11. The Clintonoids reacted by drumming up some fake commission filled with their own lackies and spurred on by the Jersey girls recruited for this same thing. Gotta love Ann Coulter.
Then there's the nut Kim Jong-Il. He's out flying rockets in the air and acting like a regular asshole, excuse but that's the only way to describe him.
In the background we have the kook Muslim base those dictators and despots who love the oil wealth love to rile. They go out carrying on like idiots over freaking cartoons and hey, Americans scratch their heads over this.
Now we have that guy in Iran, a puppet of his Persian Mullah masters. Those Mullahs have quite the scam going on in that they do all right with Iranian oil wealth.
Now everyone on the planet has heard of Hizbullah and again, Americans scratch their heads and wonder what the heck has been going on across this planet and why wasn't anything done about it.
It's anecdotal I know, but my distinct sense is that Americans across the fruited plains are starting to get it. I keep my ear real close to the ground so far as ordinary Americans perceive things and most, eliminating the political junkees like ourselves, have an understanding of what Israel's up against. Very few are lambasting Israel save the kooks and Old Media.
We have COMMON SENSE out here in la-la land and it's called common sense because the political elites don't have it. They do not have a clue and elections are all about infusing common sense into those politicos.
We understand fences out here in la-la land and we understand borders. We know that when a country kidnaps the soldiers of a sovereign country, ON THEIR OWN SOIL, well we get it. We know that's not right.
It's tough to be a Dem guys. The Clintons are doing everything in their power because they believe the world needs Hillary and to that end they must gather around.
Anyway, let me shut up because I do get passionate about such things.
The only way this will all turn around is when the American PEOPLE, and I mean those who are carrying this country on our collective backs and out here raising the next generation, AND SOLDIERS I MIGHT ADD, figure it all out and get sick of the nonsense all to protect a group of thugs and go on, follow the damn money!
I bet everyone who is registered with FreeRepublic is already there. We just have to wait for the Beauty Shop Crowd to get it and I do believe it's happening.

The Dhimmirats' problem with Bolton is the essence of the party's problem:
They despise STRENGTH.
Some examples:
---Yugos come out worse in crashes with SUV's.
So the Dhims want to----ban SUVs!
---Conservative Christians are confident and strong when it comes to the application of morals to public discourse. Dhims, therefore, want to weaken public discourse by eliminating any reference to God or morals.
(Example: minimum wage is a moral value. LOL!)
---Libs hate it when any sports team wins by a big margin, so they always want to cap scoring -- or eliminate it altogether.
NOW TO THE PRESENT:
ISRAEL is stronger and has "bigger" weapons. THerefore it's unfair for them to use their full force against the Hezzies. [apply same theory to the U.S. in Iraq.] In fact, the overwhelming supremacy of the U.S. military goes to the very essence of why so many Dhims come off as anti-American. They just cant get past their love of "victimhood".
