Thanks for the post.
We are the majority.
It's about time we started acting like one.

It was never intended to protect the state from the church but the very opposite. This should be shouted from the housetops! The left has gotten away with such a blatant lie for years now. The Church was to be protected from the state, not visa versa.

Liberals hate God because God gets in the way of people looking to them to make things better. "We don' havcha no need for a steenken' hiha powah!" That sums up the message of those who seek to banish faith from public life.

There's a lot of biggotry among liberals. I got into an argument with a liberal idiot complaining because a Christian asked her if she had accepted God.
I think she would be quite happy in a world with atheists only diners, atheists only water fountains, and Christians at the back of the bus.

Agreed & put another way:
When you're out to establish an all-powerful nanny state which will supposedly satisfy every imaginable physical & spiritual need in peoples' lives in return for the mere sacrifice of their fundamental freedoms, Faith & family amount to "THE COMPETITION" & are accordingly treated as such.

Correction:
Liberals hate God because God gets in the way ( their ungodliness and sin, and their blatant indulgence to wallow in sin ), that's why homosexuals, feminist, and Liberals hate the God of the Bible and Christians.

It is the complete absence of belief that smashes the culture into broken pieces of what is otherwise a quite beautiful stained glass window. Well put . . . and exactly right!

Liberals also hate Christians because the presence of Christians means they can never forget that they just
might be wrong; that there is Absolute Holiness Who does not tolerate sin and to Whom they will have to answer one day, and that all their cherished beliefs and worldview, which rejects God and which collapses under the slightest scrutiny, may be, in the end, a vanishing mirage that leaves them naked, alone, and
finished.
That's why they labor tirelessly to shut Christians up and to erase any semblance of God in the public square. There is no other way to escape the ceaseless, nagging, creeping fear that Christians may be right.

I never thought of that, very insightful.

In schools, for example, where the war is particularly intense, we seem to almost encourage children to dress as miniature hookers or pimps. Violence, drug use, sexual promiscuity and academic failure are colossal problems.

Ann Coulter has it right. Liberalism is a religion. The government schools are their madrases, and the NEA its anointed priesthood.
There is no such thing as a religiously neutral education. It is axiomatic.
No matter what the government decides it WILL establish in its schools the religious worldview of some while actively and even maliciously undermining and destroying the religion of others.

First, the people who are working so hard to reject Christianity are generally not people of other religions but people of no religion at all...a most interesting point - invalidates the argument that those of other religions are the most aggrieved by Christian practices, and since non-religious people can hardly claim their religion is being trampled by such practices, would seem to remove the whole issue from first amendment/freedom of religion protection for those working to reject Christianity.....

The left with their political correctness and authoritarianism are a major threat to freedom and democracy.

Canada and the US share a common background. The Loyalists who moved from New England were from the same Puritan stock as those who stayed behind, so it's no surprise to me that many Canadians feel as strongly as US citizens do about God and morality.

In West Virginia local activists are trying to remove a picture of Jesus that has hung on the wall of a local school for many years. So, I'm not supposed to care if we legalize "Gay Marriage" because the fact that a "Gay Couple" might move in next door can't have any impact on me, but a picture of a man claiming to be a picture of Jesus (there are no actual pictures of Jesus in existence - barring the Shroud of Turin turning out to be real after all) will somehow establish Christianity as a state religion????
I guess liberals aren't really treasonous or anti-American, just destructively STUPID.
Shalom.
