Demonstrators waved signs and flags to express their views on the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah on Friday afternoon at Shaw and Blackstone avenues in Fresno.
About 50 people gathered at 5:30 p.m. at one corner of the intersection to support Israel. About 15 people were at the other side of the street to protest Israel's military campaign in Lebanon.

Thanks. You escaped from Fresno. (Lucky dog.)
Will there be photos???
I know that a lot of photos were taken, but I'm not sure if they will get posted. (Crossing my fingers)
Yeah but we come back (Clovis) every month or so. I don't know about the lucky dog part. With the heat, I'm just a dog.
It was great to meet you, Moose. Hope you're planning on coming to the FResno picnic in September.
It was hot, the perspiration was rolling off like sweat, but I can't help but think of our nephew over in the Tikrit area. 110 degrees is about the coolest part of the day for him and his soldiers. We were cooking, but we got to go home when we were done. He'll be coming home in November. The two hour drive was well worth it imho.
May God Bless and Protect our troops! May He continue to watch over Israel.
Thanks Dave, and my prayers for your nephew.
On the return trip, take S/B 41 and take the Kerman/Mendota exit to W/B 180. Stay in the #3 lane, and it will take you to N/B 99. You will need to move over before you get to the on ramp because it splits before you get to the on ramp, with the left lane going to S/B 99 and the right lane leading to N/B 99.
Will do, I promise. Syncro and notpoliticallycorewrecked were the chief photographers from FreeRepublic and I hope they are able to put up photos.
Thanks for those directions. I'll use 'em next time I come down.
Thanks for posting the thread, Enterprise.
It was great out-numbering the Peace Fresno kooks for a change.

If I missed anyone, Speak Up!
About 55 people from the Jewish community were in attendance with signs supporting Israel's right to defend herself.
Plenty of American and Israeli flags were flying and we were well received by the passing motorists. Of course, the obligitory nut showed his support for the terrorists by giving us the one fingered salute while showing us he had mastered the English language.
Fresno City Councilman, Jerry Duncan stopped by to thank us for being there and to let us know that our military knows we are there and that they appreciate us.
Enterprise brought an Easy Up and it was a big help in providing an escape from the sun.
I did not take any pictures last night, but Moose Dung and Syncro snapped a few. Anyone who has pictures, please add them to the thread.
That is the kind of ratio we love! thanks for the report Enterprise & thanks to all the FResno FReepers for supporting Israel!
Looking forward to pix...
Love that graphic!
Snatched!
Thank you, and please extend my thanks to your wife and son for standing tall for our freedom.
Thank you!
SYNCRO would NEVER FORGET to ping ME!!! ;*)
I'm glad you liked it! Feel free to use it...I have no idea where I snagged it from! ;*)
Mark your calendar for Sept 8th and 9th.
Our annual picnic will be the 9th and we always have a Troop Rally the evening prior.
We are hoping for a large showing on the 8th. If it works out, it will be a wonderful experience. Try to join us.
Mark your calendar for both days.
Thanks to each and every one of you for coming out in oppressive heat to support Israel in the cause against Islamofascism!
Good job all.
