Once again, the peace activist, free speech advocating hags from Code Pink stole some of the D.C. Chapter's signs outside Walter Reed.
Last week, we debuted Burma Shave style signs in an effort to inform the public that they should not be fooled into thinking the Code Pink demonstrators at Walter Reed love this country. The signs worked as drivers of cars who honked for our patriotic demonstration at the main gate were markedly less inclined to be fooled by the two American flags displayed by the Pinkos and also honk for them.
The Burma Shave signs were having the same effect tonight, much to the frustration of the Pinkos. Around 8:25 p.m., after the signs had been displayed for about an hour, we saw one of the Pinkos stealing the signs off the roofs of our cars. He tried to throw them over the Walter Reed fence and took off running after he realized he'd been found out. He had stolen three of the four signs, two of which he managed to toss over the fence while the third landed right in front of the fence.
A brief scrum took place as both sides rushed to confront each other. Cooler heads quickly prevailed and tempers defused.
The thief explained his actions by saying our signs are "offensive, they're namecalling, they're disrespectful to our women, alright. And we will not have our women disrespected." (This from a man who stands outside a military hospital with people who routinely call our wounded soldiers killers, murderers and war criminals.)
We informed the Pinkos that our use of the word "hags" was not gender specific. We meant it for their "men" also.
Several officers from Walter Reed security went down and warned the Pinkos not to steal our signs again and to not throw things over the fence on to Walter Reed property.
Sure that wasn't The New Yankee Workshop instead?
Or maybe Maximum Exposure? Max Ex is really into disaster footage.
And way too much for Nip and Tuck.

Get out of that closet! You are most welcome to join in the fun!
The "Clivdon set" in Great Britain wanted to be "civil" to the Nazis and they ended up with the Luftwaffe. You can't be "nice" to certain people - they take it for what it really is: A SIGN OF APPEASEMENT AND WEAKNESS.
LOL! I don't see how that explained anything. It sounds just like the excuses people were given for Ann Coulter's personal attacks on the Jersey Girls. It is never "appropriate" to engage in personal attacks.
"Did you also vote for Clinton, soccermom?" Of course not. Are you suggesting that refraining from personal attacks is something a conservative couldn't possibly support?
We hear you -- You do not like personal attacks. OK.
We want to call attention to the women who call the wounded in Walter Reed murderers.
We will have to agree to disagree.
Thanks for the free advice.
Don't be offended, but I don't think I'll be availing myself of it.
Wars aren't won by being nice to one's enemies.
Again, I don't have a problem with "calling attention" to them. Can't you do that by pointing to their words and deeds?
"Wars aren't won by being nice to one's enemies." Sighhhhhh.... I feel like I'm in the Coulter discussion all over again. I suppose it depends on what kind of war you're fighting. I had always assumed that demonstrations with signs were wars of public opinion. You don't win the public opinion war with personal attacks. Now, if you want to define "war" as a junior high lunchroom where war is over who get in the best dig against someone else then, by all means, carry on with your "war". Personally, I don't think that accomplishes anything but making you feel good. If that is the kind of war you want, go ahead and pat yourself on the back and feel good that you called someone a name!
Give me an example in the form of a Burma Shave ad.
Those who can, do.
Those who can't, tell the do-ers that they're doing it all wrong.
Funny, the soldiers and families who saw those "mean-spirited" signs didn't tell us not to use "personal attacks" against the hags down the block.
They doubled up in laughter. And they thanked us for what we're doing. They get it. And that's what matters.
They reveled in the horn honks they got deceiving people with US flags. Now they don't get more than a couple a night. It good that the public knows and it's good that Code Pinks leaders and followers know that people reject Code Pink, the real Code Pink.
It is intellectually lazy and does nothing to advance your point.
Wrong, it worked VERY well. What pissed them off was exposing them, not the "insulting their womenfolk".
These people scream "rapist" face to face to wounded soldiers. I can't give a rats ass if they are "offended" or you.
Yall all make my day! Thanks!!!
You are so right!! We know what counts! Some people might even "feel" that the word "soccermom" is pejorative. Everyone is entitled to their "feelings" but the preaching gets tedious at times, doesn't it.
