This isn't exactly a secret...Israel just called up 3000 reservists and told the citizens of Lebanon to evacuate.
Reminds me of a T-Shirt that I saw a FReeper wearing in a picture of a counter-protest. T-Shirt had the front page of the New York Times, dated June 5, 1944. The headline said something like "Allied Forces to Storm Normandy Beach Tomorrow".
I want that shirt.
Yeah, it's nuts (unless these stories are disinformation) to have so many military details published. Hard to stop the "free press" from undermining anything it wants to, but when the US and UK had wartime censorship in WWII they were not therefore no longer "free nations" -- we did what we had to do to defeat totalitarian enemies of civilization. Nowadays our enemies have to know everything that the media can get ahold of.
If only a good disinformation campaign could get the Hezbo-Nazis to come rushing out of their bunkers expecting to face "retreating Israelis" and instead find themselves in the zone of death......

people seem to be happy about this. Another invasion by israel isnt going to eradicate hezbollah 100%. THey are going to get bogged down and have to fight an insurgency like they are fighting in iraq. Only way there is going to be a solution to this is when the lebanese decide to kick the iranians out, or if an international force can surround the hezbollah and put the squeeze on them..... An invasion isnt going to suddenly make the terrorist organization die. THey will just hide among the civilians and bury their weapons to fight another day.
remember? Israel invaded in the 80's and fought terrorist for how many years before they pulled out? Its going to be a repeat.

Not really they have been calling up reservist for the past week and have been telling people to get out of South Lebanon for the past week also
