Yes, indeed. Take care of yourself too MO. I too, along w/my sisters, went through this for quite a few years. First, mom deteriorating and needing in-house help, then live-in help, then finally she needed so much constant and medical attention that we got her into a nursing home. Things will quiet down some for you now, and your mom will have round-the-clock care, including on-site medical care. It's the best thing to happen for your mom right now. Make sure to check into any options that may exist to help with the nursing home payments. Some states have programs that help, and also check into tax right-offs that you can take come tax time. Make sure to look into this. Most states, on the county level, have nursing home ombudsmen that can be a source of information on what options are available to ease the cost of nursing home expenses. I have tidbits of useful info regarding nursing home issues if you want to privately freepmail me at any time with questions. Relax some now, you deserve it.

Yes, and we ll know that there is not a durn thing anyone can do to change these people. They only understand strength. No matter what we do there will be more terrorist. We aren't making more terrorists by bombing them. They are taught from birth to hate before a bomb even falls.

It seems they have the equivalent of the battered spouse syndrome. Everything that happens is our fault and the only acceptable response is to examine and correct the behavior that caused the abuse.

Their "plan" always seem to crumble when you get to details!
I have high regard for the Israeli military, and high expectations of their conduct of this war. I expect them to take some hits -- as they have -- and to learn from them and adapt on-the-fly. They seem to have done a good job, so far, of probing Hezbollah's strengths and weaknesses without sustaining heavy losses, and the spirited discussion we're having here (much of it by folks who know a lot more about it than I do) shows how well they've avoided telegraphing their intentions.
Let speculation surge, and may the surprises be good ones!
