The lull before the storm?
"Hezbollah's strategy appears to be threefold. First, force Israel into costly attacks against prepared fortifications. Second, draw Israeli troops as deeply into Lebanon as possible, forcing them to fight on extended supply lines. Third, move into an Iraqi-style insurgency from which Israel -- out of fear of a resumption of rocket attacks -- cannot withdraw, but which the Israelis also cannot endure because of extended long-term casualties. This appears to have been a carefully planned strategy, built around a threat to Israeli cities that Israel can't afford. The war has begun at Hezbollah's time and choosing." -- Stratfor

They look like idiots!
I knew there was a more recent assassination, but I couldn't remember what position it was in.
Hariri definitely became anti-Syrian, especially after Assad's father passed on and policies and such began to change. But he wasn't the last PM, either. Three have been two others before the current guy.
Politics in Lebanon is a balancing act, because the stakes are high, and have been since at least the 80s.
Hey, bomb-belts don't grow on trees!
I can not BELIEVE how anti-Israel Shep and the Fox Report have been! It is truly sickening. They have made Hezbollah out as the victims! Shep is a disgrace.

It's not the fatigues.
Yes, and she seems to have a better "ear to the ground" than the rest, who seem to be predicting a full-on ground assault soon.
It seems to indicate some disarray within the "Fox News team," but it might be just good "news management" by the Israelis. If she's "wrong" and the rest are "right," her compelling and well-supported reports will have helped confuse the bad guys.
Christiane Amanapour has been an idiot since she roomed with John John.
Isn't Fox Broadcasting owned by a Saudi prince at this time?
I haven't seen their pic, but I think fatigue pants are cool, too...I have a set in chocolate chip...but I go hunting in them, so I have an excuse...
I thought it was a Rupert Murdoch company.
