Oh yes. You do.
This is why I want a torture penalty.
I know someone who did this while high on drugs. They walked in an unlocked door in a rowhouse (think many houses looking pretty much alike) and went to sleep on the couch. Luckily the home owner was a bit of a hippie type and when he found him, just asked if he was ok and when the answer was yes, asked him to leave.
The VICTIMS may have a Russian-sounding name. The PERP does not. So what is it you were saying?
He could use the Patrick Kennedy excuse. Yeah, that was it. I was prescribed too much alcohol.
He had been a resident of a drunk's half-way house - I believe he was only shortly released. He moved into the house across the street from the family two weeks ago. And the black-out is no excuse, but my alcholic sister (who is dry for now) would drive and go to the store and buy things and never know what happened.
Oh, my God please help this man and salve his grief as best as it can be salved. They would have been as safe in Baghdad as with this demon.
Well I hope your sister dosnt fall off the wagon, but for this guy he can dry out on death row before they give him his last shot of whatever it is they use for executions.
The next this butthole wakes up he should be on death row.
The article this morning had an old employer say he would fire the guy when he wouldn't show up for work. The guy said he "blacked-out" but it won't happen again. The boss would rehire him again and again with the guy saying he "blacked-out". Hopefully our courts aren't as spineless (and naive) as his old boss and the drunk's old standby excuse won't work.
On a good note, some "landmark" case from 1992(?) ruled that a "black-out" doesn't count as temporary insanity and the suspect in that case was convicted (double murder).
For this guy in Kirkland they are charging him with 4 First Degree homocides and arson.
Holy crap-I missed this when it first came out and saw it referenced on another thread. I grew up in Kirkland.
