Who Likes Hamas?
With even the Arab League blaming Hezbollah and Hamas for the violence in the Middle East, it seems the terrorist organizations' last bastions of support are Iran, Syria and parts of California. Left-wing protesters chanting their support for the two groups in front of the Israeli consulate in San Francisco had to be separated from pro-Israel demonstrators by police the other day. Many protesters waved Palestinian flags, while some mask-wearing demonstrators wore t-shirts advocating violence against Jews.

LOL!
I HATE being cold too!!
HATE IT!
I cry when I can't get warm! LOL!
Yeah, I saw in on Google, that Alderman Ed Burke (is he of the Burke family in my time?) was trying to ban fat from all the restaurants in Chicago. I was saying, my goodness, they'll put all the pizza parlors in Chicago out of existence!
We're just peas in a {warm} pod, EC... ;-]
That is why, when my wife asks whether I miss Iowa and haven't been back for 14 years, I answer resoundingly, "NNNNNOOOO WWWWAAAAYYYY!"
I dealt with it for 27 years and that is long enough. Besides, about the time I might be thinking about going back, we get hit with a couple weeks of snow here and I remember.
LOL!!!
;-)
MUAH!
LOL! Alan ALda school of reformed manliness
I wish Bolton would run for President in '08....
I would be in eternal bliss watching the left implode!
;-)
In 1968, banning fat would have meant banning the Chicago police from all restaurants.
Exactly the same here...I had to take some business trips up North during the winter and then I remembered why I hated snow and cold...
You were in Indiana during the blizzard that come in 20-year intervals. That winter had 15-20 ft. snowdrifts in our backyard.
My will is strong and I'm proud of all WWII Vets. My dad being one of them. I also had an Uncle at Tulakes, as a Red Cross officer. I have his letters written from that time and his station in Japan following the end of the War. No apology needed!
The apology should be from the ones following that era who did not stay strong. The mess today can be traced back to the weakness of the clinton's and the Democrat Party.
Look at how his own party has turned on Lieberman because of his strong defense stance.
President Bush is not a Paper Tiger .... what will the next President be?
When I lived "up nort" in the 60's-70's we had snow. Lots of it. The plows pushed it up so high you couldn't see the road from the side walk. Had to shovel pathways to get to your car.
And yes Lee, I remember the -65 windchill in 79 walking to school. I raise your waiting for the CTA and walking into a headwind in my Michelin Man down coat and frozen face.
Heres a bio on Burke.

I LOVE FAT!
I LOVE BUTTER, and SALT, and CHEESE, and SOUR CREAM, and WHOLE MILK, and.....
I LOVE IT!
Pasta, Carbs, bloody meat, yum yum yum!
That's the truth, and I can't believe that's changed a whole lot..part of the reason you were afraid the cops was that they reminded me of linebackers for the Bears!
YES! It was TREMENDOUS! I lived in a cald-e-sac... we played "War" for DAYS!
I thought he said son of a WWII vet.
I raise your headwind in your warm Michelin coat with having to ride my 50 cc Honda to the 'L' in the same weather because my bug was encased in ice and unrideable for 3 weeks. Brutal, absolutely brutal...
