Dear FReepers,

I received a call from my daughter in the Philippines, advising me that my 1 year old grandson, Jorge, has been ill for several days with a high fever, and he is unable to keep down his food. She took him to a doctor and got medicine for him, but it is apparently not working.

Therefore, once again I am requesting prayers from the FReeper Prayer Warriors. Please pray for God's healing power for my grandson, Jorge.

And the funny thing is, up until January of this year, I didn't even know I had a daughter, MUCH LESS grandkids!!!!

Prayers for Jorge, Neil. Can your daughter get, or can you ship them pedialyte? Your daughter has to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. It comes in sticks like an ice pop that kids can suck on .. you buy in liquid form and put in freezer. It's an easy way to keep kids hydrated. As an alternative, she can get gatorade or equivalent. But definitely keep electrolytes going into him any way she can.

oops, sorry, we'll pray for Kate, but your grandchild and a sick child nonetheless. Same thing goes ... keep her hydrated with anything available that has electrolytes in it.
