You could be someone's worst enemy, but the press rooms at both the White House and Congress used to be one of the most respectful places on the planet. Creatively phrasing a zinger of a question was something to raise a glass to. Now it's talking over people, interrupting the answer, arguing with the answer, positioning oneself..

It is intriguing that the liberals who most commonly cry fowl about the freedom of speech are the ones who most commonly try to take it away from others.

For someone who claims to be a journalist, and who has the job of asking questions, Helen Thomas looked seriously misinformed or just uninformed.

Her superiors should be embarrassed that she asked the wrong questions, and made it clear to everyone she had no idea what she was talking about.
