Thanks, it is a beautiful area. I live up on Lookout Mountain and can see Trenton to my left, and Chattanooga to my right. Really beautiful view.

Fascinating! I grew up in Clayton County and had never heard that. I asked my mom and she knew about it, but then she spent quite a bit of time in Heard county, which is not so very far away I gather

Fingers crossed for you all for good results.

I'm looking forward to watching Sonny kick RINO McBerry's butt in the primary. McBerry's fan club are the Ned Lamont's of the GOP, single issue nuts out to "purge" someone who does their bidding 90% of the time.

It's not even about the "confederate hertiage" they claim, since the new Georgia flag incorporates the very FIRST flag the confederacy and reflects Georgia's civil war era flag far better than the 50s flag does. If they wanted "confederate hertiage" they'd be more than happy with the new flag. McBerry and his "Republican" supporters miss the good 'ol days of one party segregationist Democrat rule in Georgia during their childhood, plain and simple.

Ray McBerry even admits on his own website he despises the GOP and is only running as a "Republican" to get on the ballot. His campaign is solely about honoring the "hertiage" of one term 50s Governor Marvin Griffin (Segregationist Liberal RAT-GA). Buh bye, McBerry

The developer of lookout mountain seems to have been scared by a nursery rhyme as a child and spent his later years over-compensating for it.

Whoever wins the Lt Gov spot, its going to be interesting to see how the opponent supports him. It was an awfully muddy campaign for both.

It's like 80 something percent for Sonny right now, all McBerry did was waste a lot of money.

I'm a Ralph Reed fan too. His opponent Cagle has been relentless in his ads, really going after Reed for his casino connection to Abrahamoff. Polls say the race is too close to call, so I guess it could go either way.

Cagle seems to have outspent Reed, and the Abrahamoff link will definitely hurt Reed, but Reed's long record of helping to turn GA red is strong, and over the years, he's done lots of good for lots of people. We'll just have to wait this one out.

For someone not paying much attention to facts, just seeing tv ads, the angry, evil looking Cagle is saying Reed is a criminal. Who knows how a contest between the two will go.

On both sides of the aisle in that race.

Maybe this primary will put an end to the Flag issue once and for all. I sure hope so, we have to put this behind us...

I was transferred to Chattanooga in '03 and stumbled upon this location. Fell in love with it, built a house, and now retired.

I'm sure it's a lovely area. I was just joshing about the street names in part of the development. Though I really shouldn't laugh. I have to admit I've always had a secret fantasy of living at the corner of Cinderella and Mother Goose.
