Speaking selfishly ........ I have enjoyed the rain here in PA over the past years from these spent hurricanes.
My nursery loves that rain.

According to the 'global warming' weenies, we should have had several by now. The hur(him)icane season is almost 7 weeks old now. Where's the devastation when you need it.

Clearly we are having weather CHANGE! You know, last year we had all those hurricanes, this year not so, so this is all part of that evil global warming....weather CHANGE.

We didn't get anything till July 31 in 2004 and still had 15 storms. Definately too soon to write it off.

We didn't get anything till July 31 in 2004 and still had 15 storms. And we only had six named storms in 1992. The first one wasn't until mid August.
Unfortunately, that one was Andrew. Sometimes, it only takes one to make a bad year.

It's been a little quiet in the tropics so far -- too quiet. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.
