BEIRUT — Thousands of Americans whose vacations and business trips to Lebanon have degenerated with sickening speed into stints in a battle zone remained stranded here under Israeli bombardment Monday, their frustration and anger mounting because the U.S. government hasn't gotten them out faster.
Waiting around Beirut with bags packed and fingers crossed, U.S. citizens derided the embassy for busy phone lines, a lack of information and gnawing uncertainty over when and whether they will get out. Hundreds were expected to be shipped to Cyprus today, but how long the full evacuation will take remains uncertain.

Peach you did not say directly she was lying about that issue, but you made the point that you had not seen anyone say they had children involved in the rescue efforts. You made more than one reference in other posts that she had not answered your question or offered proof. When you accused her of lying about the post you made about "...not having a Christian bone..." You said to her that she was lying **again** so if she was lying **again** your only other posts to her were about freepers having children involved in rescue. I asked you what you meant when you said she was lying **again** and you did not answer that question.
You accused numerous freepers of lying on this thread and I did not see where you posted any proof that anyone lied. That is a strong statement and I would like to see the proof. You made a long post directly to me ranting about the lying on this thread- I asked you to offer proof that I had lied or post that I did not lie. You never did either one, instead you only said you did not directly say I was lying. Peach when you post to me about lying it gives the impression that I am the one you are talking about- especially when it was obvious you and I were at odds. I ask you to state that was not the case and you did not. Once again, you made several posts on this thread and other threads that freepers were lying on this thread- I think you should post proof of that or say you don't have the proof.
Since you brought up looking foolish- how foolish is it to get on a thread and blast posters when you admitted at the time you were doing it that you are not reading the thread?

You not only kept throwing out the lying accusation everywhere you could, you also accused some freepers of not having a Christian bone in their body, you told one freeper she was a "damn liar" and you called another a POS. Pretty strong stuff, I am curious- did you even get a warning from a moderator? I would like to know because I once called a poster a quisling on an immigration thread and I got a warning for that. I didn't think it was ok to damn people and call them names like POS.
You also made several posts about all the lying on this thread about rebel on another thread last night. I was freeped by several freepers to that thread. You have not posted proof that anyone on this thread lied about rebel, yet you tried to take that to another thread. I thought the other thread's purpose was to welcome rebel home; there was no need for you to try to get something going on his welcome home thread. Yes, that says a lot about you.
Tammy, you've made that claim 3 times now and been unable to back it up. Because it's demonstrably untrue.
As to her lying again, read carefully: It was that she could not back up her claim that I had condemned freepers to hell.
As to the rest of your mini rant, I'm starting to feel pretty sorry for you. I've answered those questions more times than you deserve. Or can understand, apparently.

I wouldn't know about your reading comprehension, you don't seem to think you need to read a thread to make snide comments on it.
You admitted in this thread that you weren't reading the thread. Once you even stated you were only responding to pings. My reading comprehension may suffer at times; but I'm sure it is better than if I wasn't reading the thread at all and still responding.
That is a really interesting way to not answer a question I must say.
While we are doing this whole question and answer session I have a couple of direct answers for you. You have stated over and over that freepers were lying about rebel on this thread. Your answers should clear this up for everyone.

2. Please post proof of lies to or about rebel on this thread.
