Inbound helicopters on CNN were clearly dropping off inbound personnel and equipment bags..
Later stumbled across a photo of manned 50's over the landing area....

My guess is that they are loaded for bear, and any attackers would suffer HEAVILY...

Everybody wants help yesterday.

It's a rule of thumb: It takes a minimum of 3 days to get organized and set up. And that's when all your ducks are already in a row...

Israeli planes also raided the area near the Qaraoun dam region in the Bekaa Valley where there is an army barracks and the Deir al Ahmar bridge that links north Lebanon to the Bekaa Valley.

Overnight raids targeted the army barracks at Jamhour east of Beirut. Army command said repeated airstrikes were launched against the base, one of them during a rescue operation to pull out soldiers trapped under the rubble. The dead included four officers, the military said. Another strike was launched on a barracks in Kfarshima southeast of the capital killing a passerby.

The amusing part is probably found in people's reactions to the photo. If they had been Palestinian children, the photo would've been declared "proof" of their terrorist-breeding culture but since these are Israeli children...

The parents of these children are not strapping the missiles onto them and sending them out to die.

I was so busy today too - couldn't get to a TV or a computer until now! Are they still evacuating people?

Exactly...it isn't like these attacks were planned or even anticipated by the US.

His hypothesis is that the latest Israeli v Hezzies conflict is NOT the main operation or even a prelude thereto but rather a diversion leading up to something on a global scale--and most certainly targeting the US and its interests.

Cripes! Just what country needs before our elections. $4.00 a gallon gasoline and a recession. I hope people keep their eyes open...it's more important now than ever that the democrats do NOT gain seats in either house this fall.

I suspect this man Imad Fayez Mugniyah is involved in this up to his eyeballs. He attended a meeting with the Iranian nut and Assad earlier this year in Syria. Mugniyah is one nasty piece of work...he is rumored to have killed a couple of American hostages back in the 80's.

Sadly most of the people I know can't make the Iranian connection.
