Lots of Lebanese in Brazil. They went there after the civil war.

"The way I read jvertas explanation of this is they believe they can hit the chemical plants in Haifa and create the equivalent of a nuclear hit on that part of Israel. jveritas, is that close to what you said?"

If the chemical plants are anything like Houston's they are specifically and redundantly designed not to explode. Most likely, they have been emptied and have nothing in process as a safety measure.

They had ten people in NK on July 4th when they fired off the volley of rockets, it's believed Iranian's built the longer stage third rocket and it wouldn't suprise me if, in return, NK sent them home with the final link in the nuclear chain.

Keep those human shields in place!

Sometimes, the human shields get tired of it.

Anything that can get the local people ticked off with Hezbullah has a good side to it.

If I had Tony's job, I'd need a cussin' jar the size of a water tower...and I'd just drop all my credit cards in it.

They include all non-essential UN staff from Beirut.

That would be the entire UN contingent in my opinion.

Did you see the CNN interview with a 'former' ambassador for Egypt I think. He said he had never heard of making people repay and thought it was terrible that we would turn anyone away because they could not pay. Naturally one corrected him, just let it go as fact Confused intellectuals used Israel as an object of hate to hide their ineptitude--Amir Tahari. Saw this line and couldn't get it out of my mind. So damn honest.
