Is Bob actually in Iraq right now? If he is, he'd likely be at the Palestine Hotel in central Baghdad where all the media stays. (It's almost DESERTED there now - LOL)
Perhaps I need to pay a visit to the idiot. It's not far from me at all.
(I'd LOVE to go tackle him on that statistic!)

If Iran tries to come in here, we Americans will all rise up and kick their a$$es. ;-) Of that I'm certain. My thought would be that they would use the "waves of humans" approach that they used against Saddam in the 80s. There would be a lot of carnage. Makes me wish those students over there that want the Mullahs out had the tools to get it done.

From the text he did not mention that they have WMD with its traditional terms, but according to terrorist Nisrallah if Hizballah hit the Petrochemical complex in Israel they can have a similar effect as if they have WMD.

I think their hinting at having more powerful missiles than Israel publicly acknowledges and that they're planning to use them to target chemical plants, the explosion of which will cause massive casualties.

Egypt is in a kind of funny position. They don't like Israel, but the resorts in the Sinai make a lot of money for them. Haven't heard any troops moving to the borders yet, and the police are making an attempt to keep Gaza sealed off.
I don't think Egypt's government wants in this round.

Thank you for your reasoned comments in #587. The perspective gets a little strange for us here. I guess I'm not too scared or I'd have bailed by now.
But the "Highway of Death" comparison makes sense. Our troops are already on the ground and loaded for bear here.
I will now sign off and go get a good night's sleep.
'Night, all!
