Me too, I used to love going to the library and checking out any books to do with History.. one reason I really like Newt is his grasp of History and how it affects everything around us.

I notice though that he's addressed as Major "BOB". The Fox reporters address all the other military analyst by title and last name ( i.e Col Hunt ). Any time some one is addressed by their honorific and then their first name it immediately undermines their credibility.
I'm not suprised, I think this will escalate because the madman in Iran wants it to escalate. I'd like to know what was in the note he sent King Abdullah Sunday.
My take on it is that Nasarallah is eluding at two things really. First is that the Israeli chem plants are targets to create a great loss of life, and second is that they do still have weaponry left that has the range and accuracy to hit it.
As far as WMDs, it seems likely that they have them. Syria does, and Syria has been helping supply them. What I'm not sure about is what means of delivery they have for them.

You know, I was wondering the same thing....if he's Lebanese or married to one. He sure doesn't seem to like Israel.....that much is obvious.
Iran has been saying things like that. They've been posturing and making threats for a long time and thankfully, none of it has come to fruition. I hope it stays that way.
Interesting that they are threatening the U.S. when we are not engaged in this latest war at all right now.
