So, sightseeing and not eating?

We used to go to a place in the original Little Italy called Little Joe's.. had the best Italian food.

Right across the street was the best Chinese Resturant called General Lee's (had the best MaiTai's mmmm, we used to drive up there Friday nights after work for dinner then to the Sunset Strip for a just-released movie -- the good ole days

I got curious with it listed and looked it up, the whole area is being turned into something else.. that's kind of sad because it was really unique. It's the area where a lot of the movie Chinatown was filmed.

I think they will invade Lebanon with a large force. How can Israel find most or all the rockets without an invasion? Sporadic rocket attacks could last weeks, months or years. Are they going to close down the port of Haifa every other day?

That's true, but doesn't that hunt for mines also possibly suggest a larger ground force is on the way?

Yes, IMO.

"Palestinian sources in Nablus reported that a large IDF force was besieging the Muqataa area in the West Bank city.

According to the reports, the soldiers were exchanging fire with wanted Palestinians hiding inside the site." (Ali Waked)

You're welcome, but like I said, I am not familiar with the website. I just happened to catch it before the mods pulled it.

You have to remember that whenever you hear a Pali, HB, or most Arabs talk about the "occupied" land, they are talking about the entire country of Israel.

Of course. After listening to the fool Hezzie spokesman, I find it comical, that the U.N. and Euros want to have "diplomatic" discussions with them. Next time my dog eats the hose, I'll try and come to a diplomatic solution with him.

Thanks.

I hope Israel can do some real hurt to Syria and Iran.
If Israel is made to pack it in, this all come back for another day.

Female actresses in hollyweird might have to buy themselves a new more modest wardrobe if things keep progressing.

Agree. I pinged the poster. If he/she doesn't come up with more, then I will consider it hyperventillating.

I knkow this is way off topic, but I did see on H&G that some of the old buildings downtown Los Angeles are being renovated to maintain the architectural integrity (beauty) and turned into lofts.

That would interest me more these days, one thing I love about NYC is how the people became so incensed after they tore down Penn Station to build it's replacement and moved to save the old buildings, I remember the first time I saw the buildings, the old gargoyles, etc., I really like the period of the pre-war architecture.
