(AP) At daybreak Wednesday, a small number of Israeli troops were operating just across the border inside southern Lebanon, looking for tunnels and weapons, the Israeli military said. The military did not provide any more details and gave no indication that action would be expanded into a larger operation.

his brother, though, is at least partially hooked. Maybe I was able to plant a seed or two...

I had a few adults in my life who planted that seed. It's a fine thing you've done. The boy will appreciate it all his life.

Gillerman on CNN!

Did you catch the idiot from the Hezbolloh TV channel that Cooper was interviewing. The guy was a total jackass. He get restating that Hezbolloh is merely fighting to have the occupied territories "freed" They only kidnapped the soldiers to get their prisoners released. Said, they didn't want war, just to get their prisoners released.

IIRC, didn't Israel leave S. Lebanon.

There are some problems with Iran-Russian partnerships, particularly with Moslem independence movements and a Christain Russia that has real demographic problems. Their hands will be full soon with more than Chechnya...

No, it's some goof named Nic Robertson (?). Taking a tour of where Israel dropped bombs, courtesy of a friendly Hezzie guide. Showing the happy reporter how Israel has been targeting civilians. That there is NO military structure there. And said Hezzie goes on to say that the IDF are cowards. Reporter was loving it.

Totally freaking disgusting!

Mods just pulled this for lack of link by FARS, however it may be of some interest here. I'm not familiar with the site, so I have no clue about the veracity:

Haven't decided yet. You wouldn't know it from yrs ago.
blocks and blocks of upscale restaurants. Several hirise condos going for 1 million + a unit and other large condos that look like Tuscany. Upscale stores. My friend has a condo on the 17th floor of one bldg overlooking the harbor she rents to an atty for 2,400 a month

I'd think Israel could knock down most of 10-30 large missiles launched in a one-time attack. (Anybody know how many Patriots they have - er, might not be a good thing to post, on 2nd thought...)

" MSNBC Report IDF troops are searching for tunnels and mines in Southern Lebanon."

Could be disinfo to mask deeper thrust, or maybe the IDF decided that as long as they are there, they should sweep up a little.

This possibly correlates with something said earlier by the Iranian leader. He implied that something would happen to make Islam happy so to speak.
