Haven't decided yet. You wouldn't know it from yrs ago.
blocks and blocks of upscale restaurants. Several hirise condos going for 1 million + a unit and other large condos that look like Tuscany. Upscale stores. My friend has a condo on the 17th floor of one bldg overlooking the harbor she rents to an atty for 2,400 a month

I knkow this is way off topic, but I did see on H&G that some of the old buildings downtown Los Angeles are being renovated to maintain the architectural integrity (beauty) and turned into lofts.

That would interest me more these days, one thing I love about NYC is how the people became so incensed after they tore down Penn Station to build it's replacement and moved to save the old buildings, I remember the first time I saw the buildings, the old gargoyles, etc., I really like the period of the pre-war architecture.
