I heard there was a huge price tag on the lazer plus about a grand every time they fired one but it is supposed to be in the works.
Reports are they tested one and it knocked out 26 out of 26 missiles like there was nothing to it.I wish I could remember where I read all this, think it was here.

I missed Major Bob...we had a severe thunderstorm, lost satellite and then power. Just got back on line a few minutes ago.
I take it he repeated his insane rant of the weekend. Ailes needs to terminate his contract.

You are right..considering there is supposedly a larger Hezbollah population HERE than al-queda...
And...if Israel continues this war...we could have some of them "called to action"...
I just hope if that happens, they don't feel they need a "commission" to find out why...duh.

I agree with you, but not everyone else shares our need for (speed) news. My next door neighbor is clueless that there is anything going on anywhere in the world. She told me she can't do anything about it so............
Go figure.

Jennifer Griffing showed the towers that fly the UN Flag..along the border of Lebanon and Israel...
She said that they just stand up there and WATCH as the Hezzies fire rockets into Israel.

I didn't mean any hard feelings for FReepers who are there. I just think they need to check the status before they go and limited their criticism for our country while on foreign soil.

I think the big missles they have are a # 5 or something like that. They reportedly don't have too many of the real big ones from what I have heard, but do have 10-13,000 overall of mostly smaller missiles less what they have already fired.

Sounds like H&C are going to address that very thought. Using the tv for background noise - I don't always pick up the whole quote but something said about the Hezzies are now threatening US and Israeli worldwide interests??

I couldn't bear to listen and switched to CNN for that segment, Paula Zahn wasn't much better, though interviewing the woman spokesperson for the Israel Government and asking why they are hitting civilians in Lebanon, she kept telling Paula because Hezbollah has their headquarter as well as other things in civilian areas and that ALL the shots into Israel are into civilian areas, you'd think Paula would have stopped there, but no, she just says but why are YOU, Israel hitting civilians.
Talk about a double standard interviewer, whew!

IDF tanks enter central Gaza
Israeli tanks begin moving into Mughazi refugee camp early Wednesday under cover of machine gun fire from troops; incursion preceded by exchanges of fire between soldiers, Palestinian gunmen
Associated Press
Israeli tanks began moving into the Mughazi refugee camp in central Gaza early Wednesday under cover of machine gun fire from troops.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that an operation was in progress.
The camp is near the Gaza-Israel fence across from the Palestinian town of Deir al-Balah. Israeli forces operated in the region late last week before withdrawing.
The incursion was preceded by several hours of tank movements on the Israeli side, as well as exchanges of fire between soldiers and Palestinian gunmen. No casualties were reported.
Israel began a large-scale operation in Gaza on June 28, three days after Hamas-lined gunmen tunneled under the border and attacked an Israeli army base at a Gaza crossing, killing two soldiers and capturing a third.
