Unfortunately there was an accident in the middle of the intersection in Olney this Saturday. The car shown was in the intersection waiting to turn left, started his turn as the light turned 'yellow'. A car trying to beat the 'yellow' blew through the intersection, hitting the turning car at the right rear tire area, spinning it a little.
No one was seriously injured since most of the impact was a glancing blow. But the passenger in the turning car was transported to the hospital for a check up. Apparently he had just been there and was on his way home. He still had his hospital wrist bands on.
As soon as the accident happened, [Mrs] Trooprally was on her cell phone calling 911. Lurker Gaven (BELOW LEFT) stayed with the driver while waiting for the emergency vehicles to arrive. Do you notice in the background the moonbats still holding their signs. When the emergency vehicles arrived and were in the intersection, (BELOW RIGHT) the moonbats were still holding their signs.
The fire truck moved further into the intersection, cutting off more lanes of traffic so the rescue personal can safely put the car's passenger on a stretcher. The moonbats still held their signs. BELOW: But to be fair, some did put down their signs.
Our group put our signs down while the rescue units were still on the scene. BELOW GunsareOK and Past American Legion Commander Glenn (also an Iwo Jima vet) waiting around while the rescue personnel did their work. After they left, we waited for the tow truck to come. But after 15 minutes and no tow truck, several of our group moved well away from the intersection with our signs so as not to distract drivers. The car was finally towed and we went back to FReeping. Almost immediately, we were getting honks and waves. We definitely received more recognition this week than the moonbats.
Just 15 minutes earlier than this accident, just north of the moonbats, a car rear ended another car. They were able to drive into a parking lot.
And this week we once again out number the moonbats, 8 to 6. They include regulars Lurker Bill, [Mrs] Trooprally ([Mrs] T), Cindy_True_Supporter (CTS), and myself along with Kristinn, GunsareOK, Lurker Gavin and past Legion Post Commander Glenn. Only twice in the last 2 1/2 months have we had 5 or less FReepers, lurkers and walk ins. A grateful Thank You all for coming. With our recent numbers and banners, I really think we are raining on the monnbats parade.
BELOW LEFT: Myself and Lurker Gavin (No cigars for Gavin). BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill
BELOW LEFT: Lurker Gavin and CTS. BELOW RIGHT: Commander Glenn, CTS, Lurker Gavin and myself
The moonbats were here are again, showing their stupidity and lack of conviction.
It was hot, humid and a chance of rain. We felt a few drops, but we were already wet with sweat. But we were there. The moonbats did not have their banner or the UN flag this week, nor was Chief Grumpy there. Such conviction.
BELOW TOP: Early moonbats. They didn't even have enough signs for everyone, and there were only three of them. BELOW BOTTOM: Peek-A-Boo sure looks hot. We may have to change her name since with the heat, she can't hold her sign high enough to hide her face.
BELOW TOP: Four moonbats. Peek-A-Boo and Barking Waveman just outside of the pic. Is that an orange safety vest the moonbat with the yellow sign is wearing? BELOW BOTTOM: Yes it is!! Imagine, wearing an orange safety vest while on a sidewalk, and holding a protest sign while rescue personnel are in the middle of the intersection helping an injured person. Go figure. Actually we have, they are just plain stupid.
REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney, MD
Same time, 3 PM to 4:30 PM
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

RE: Olney FReep -
If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney, here it is. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.
A special Thanks to BufordP for enhancing the original plain type directions.
Also Welcome new to FReeper: Freeping_In_Silence. She joined this past weekend after attending the Walter Reed FReep for the first time. She submitted several links of organizations that help the troops for the HELP THE TROOPS FROM HOME Thread.
Moonbats, worthless to fellow humans.
Ditto that!!
Great AAR Mr T.
[Mrs T]
Thanks - and love your jingle.
Will have to use it with Doctor Raoul's bull horn.

Bump for a great read!
Stupid, stupid, stupid. Did I also mention "stupid"? Ah well, at least they were outnumbered.
PS: Thanks for the welcome, trooprally!
LOL That's one bet I would not make.
And Thanks. The pics are what makes a good Report. Something about a picture being worth ....... I could never describe the moonbats goings on.

Morning bttt
Late morning HELLO back at you. Are you going to be at WR this Friday?
[Mr] T
Oh my gosh, the same thing happened when I was counter protesting the creepy "Women in Black" here in upstate NY about a year and half ago! A car slammed into another car at the intersection and all of us on the pro-troops, American side grabbed our cell phones, called 9/11 and ran over to see if we could help. The moonbats never moved, never put down their signs, and never asked if anyone was hurt. And there was a toddler in one of the cars! These people are just beyond hope.
Subhuman protoplasm : )
