To me the liberal lie is that we went to war because we KNEW Saddam had WMD. My recollection is that we believed he had WMD and that he was not forthcoming with evidence that he did not. He was constantly putting blockades in the way of the inspectors despite continuing UN resolutions demanding he cooperate or face the consequences. This was further complicated by the fact that the inspectors, in typical UN hack fashion, spent most of their time trying to justify their jobs and save their sorry behinds. The war was fought to remove Saddam from power. "Mission Accomplished", and now we are trying to make IRAQ stable enough that a future leader doesn't do the same thing.

I could not help but notice that many if not most LONG-TIME CONSERVATIVE spokespersons have been often afflicted with what you call BDS. Of course these stalwarts are not really conservatives are they? They were probably secretly lured away from conservatism by Soros, just so they could bad-mouth George W.
Have you ever heard of Jonestown and the kool-aid?
To: IrishMike
The liars are the folks on the left who screamed "quagmire" in the very first days of the Iraq invasion and have been screaming "quagmire" ever since.
They've made the war much more difficult, by encouraging the enemy. Thus, they've deepened the quagmire.

Drinking the kool-aid, implies blindly following a particular person. Which of us would fill that bill?
Conservatives believe in certain principles that they believe supercede any individual, knowing that any of us is capable of making a mistake. There are a number of people admired but none of them need go unquestioned.
Perhaps someday we can make a list of all the things that Bush has doen that were good for conservatism and a list of those things that he did that harmed conservatism. Oh I never thought to ask. Are you conservative or Republican (knowing of course that they are not mutually exclusive)? But when push comes to shove, into which camp would you fall?

While I definitely do not know the strategy (I try not to imitate the mistakes of others) of not throwing down, concerning WMD's, there are several other things I am equally unsure about.
I am unsure of the strategy of not legally pursuing the CRIMES of Clinton and his cronies, and keeping his appointees on in the government, only to be stabbed in the back by them later. I am not sure of the strategy of doing nothing to secure the border, indeed the government has actually taken direct action to hamper enforcement of immigration law. I am not sure of the strategy of not vetoing one of the "over"spending bills passed by what seems to be a semi-insane (to be overly kind) GOP controlled Congress. I am unsure of the strategy of tipping the scales, in a very close Pennsylvania primary, in the favor of a RINO/idiot Spectre as opposed to a conservative Toomey. What was he thinking appointing Harriet Miers. What a stink-bomb that was. I haven't time to go on but there are other things that beg questions.

About 3 years ago Frontline did a special of Saddam's maniacal pursuit of WMDs. About 3 weeks ago Frontline did a special of Vice President Cheney cooking the inrtelligence books to make the public believe there were WMDs in Iraq.
Well Frontline, were you lying then or are you lying now!
Of course there were WMDs. You didn't need the CIA to tell you so, you could have read it in the papers or seen it on PBS.

Clueless ideologues are NOT conservatives. Lovers of Losers are NOT conservatives. Those with no tactical nor strategic understand are NOT conservatives.

Simple, Bush knew/knows that there are more caches out there, and doesn't want them found or used against our troops. If we reveale(d) what we found, and how we found it, it would/could tip off the terrorist as to where other caches might have been.
