Bush caught out by open microphone
US President George W. Bush has been caught out making candid comments on the Middle East crisis by an open microphone at a summit in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg.
Mr Bush was caught saying that a key to defusing the Middle East crisis was for "Hezbollah to stop doing this s**t". "What they need to do is get Syria to get Hizbollah to stop doing this s**t, and it's over," Bush told British Prime Minister Tony Blair at a leaders' lunch at the Group of Eight industrial countries gathering here.
The president was on camera but apparently unaware that his words were being captured by a microphone.
It was unclear who 'they' were.
Ain't it great? When President Bush is "caught" unaware of cameras and microphones, his message gets a little more blunt, but stays the same.
Bull feces! Sometimes it's just good old anglo-saxon spice.
It's the same thing he said on camera, except he said "s**t".
"Profanity is the crutch of the conversational cripple, Mr. President."
Not when you're from Texas!
Doubt the mainstream will report it - his approval rating would go up.
The word may be considered vulgar by some, but it is not profanity.

The President is right, of course. But, he needs to quit being such a dumb*** around microphones.
It's not for nothing I voted for George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004. My late father (also Jewish) voted for George W. Bush in 2000 and never regretted his decision.

It would appear that the President has a grasp of the problem.

You Know, I have noticed something.
The US has become a nation on conversational crutches.
I try to correct my kids whenever I hear them slip in a blue word or two, but I am sure when ever I am not around they use all of the colloquial epithets.
The boy actually takes pure joy in profanity.
NOT when used in private conversation, and NOT when it is called for. Having friends that served in the Diplomatic Corps, I can assure you that "profanity" has shared its place amongst our Historical moments. When needed, there is NO substitute!

Perhaps you have not seen the clip of President Clinton at Ron Brown's funeral. Give me a POTUS that says what he means and means what he says rather than one who completely changed his demeanor from laughter to tears when he realized that the camera was on him.
