Abdullah Gets Message From Ahmadinejad Arab News
JEDDAH, 16 July 2006 Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah yesterday received a message from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The subject of the communiqué is unknown.
Irans top national security official Ali Larijani delivered the presidential message to the king during a meeting at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, the Saudi Press Agency reported yesterday.
Iranian state television earlier reported that Larijani would discuss the current tumult between Israel and Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal met Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo yesterday. Prince Saud is currently in Cairo at the head of the Saudi delegation attending an extraordinary meeting of Arab foreign ministers.
The "world" has turned into a bunch of pacifists. Oh, please Mr. Nutjob. Don't hurt us. Bad Israel. Bad Israel. See, Mr. Nutjob, we won't cause you any trouble.
There are whole generations of young Palis (and others) who have been raised on hate since birth that will never be able to deprogram. We will have to deal with them sooner of later. We surely don't want to import them into this country or let them slip through our pourous borders.
Probably a threat of some kind if the Saudis don't play along with Iran.
These guys don't won't an all out war with nukes by the crazies in Iran...They also know Israel is about as bad as anyone besides Americans .... they aren't stupid ...
yep , I think it is time to throw rules out the window on these characters. Let's end the axis of evil once and for all.
You are assuming that Ahmadinejad is sane. I think he may want this very thing. Who is going to stop him? He would sacrifice Iran cause he would think he's going to usher in the 12th Imam and maybe be safe. If not, he'd still get his virgins. Not a rational enemy.
He's trying to Pressure Jordan into attacking Israel, while not being smart enough to realize that Jordan can tell them to go to hell, now that Saddam and his huge threats are gone....
With Saddam gone, it's a whole new game in the Middle-East.
Thank You George Bush!
I know the guy is nutso...there are ways of eliminating folks like that and those Arabs know just how to do it...
The Persian Mahdi Wannabe has a sales pitch problem. You see, he has a great climax for his plan for Armageddon. In his end, the Islamic religion dominates the world and instills Islamic peace. That is fine and good if you are an Islamic. The main problem with his plan however, is that the first thing he needs to do is to create utter destruction and chaos by attacking the 'infidel' Jews and their supporters. In fact, he must actually destroy 'Babylon' and the Jews. Only then will the Mahdi rise out of that well and then well, the fun part starts. He has a great ending, but quite a few Arabic leaders are probably wondering what good is paradise if one must go through utter chaos and destruction to get there ?
I don't know of anyone in the Arab world powerful enough to get to him. I mean they couldn't even take Salmon Rushdie out, and he didn't have the power of a state military behind him.
Don't be tooo sure about that.
....and take out Chavez too.
One thing I can say for certain is that Abdullah and Mubarak both do not want the radical nuts to overthrow them. You have to admit that the Saudi have been kicking butt bigtime on their internal threat.
