As I understand it, Blair's wife is quite the standard-bearer for the invasion of the UK.
I'm not so sure...in Galloway's case, he seems to believe that he is an ordained standard-bearer in the jihad against the West. He probably thinks that Allah is smiling upon him and applauding his ever word. His belligerence and arrogance is breathtaking,,,,I heard an interview with him on Michael Medved's radio show, and he was (and most likely remains) utterly consumed with his own self-importance and rigidly convinced of the correctness and legitimacy of his words. A disgusting piece of work he is.
Scratch an ultra liberal, and you find an inordinate amount of guilt and self-loathing.

Have the Brits gone insane? Are they now suicidal? Should another terrorist attack in Britain result in any injuries or death, those surviving should sue the government for contributing to that attack by their cowardly, spineless appeasement of their country's clear and obvious enemies.
No, they are merely suffering from an extremely bad onslaught of Socialism and it's associated ailments. It's my belief that most Brits are quite sane and just as upset over events such as this as you and I are. Please don't lose hope and faith in our British Friends.....remember, any culture that has within itself the ability to produce so many wonderful and almost magical inventions and groundbreaking principles that have so radically improved the quality of life for all on this earth have the ability within themselves to turn their country around.....they just need to organize their Conservatives, which I know is far easier said than done. This is not some loser third-world nation that can't even figure out how to pull up it's trousers in the morning. This is Great Britain, which brought true Civilization to much of the world. When you begin to think that all is lost for Merrie Olde England, remember that is was they who brought us so very much. The next time you visit, set aside three complete days to tour the British Museum and think to yourself "Where would we (the West) be if none of this had happened?
If that doesn't rekindle your faith in Great Britain, you can always remind yourself that it was they who invented the miniskirt, and wouldn't the world be a far drearier place without that? :-)

That would certainly be nice, but unfortunately there exists a mountain of legal precedent which would prevent that from happening.
Please don't think I was judging the British people, just the lunatics that managed to get themselves elected! I love British people, enough so that I married one! ;0)

Although I empathize with your sentiments and am of the opinion that a quick death for this as well as all Islamofascists would make the world a far better place for all, I would only question the method in this case, in that such a punishment would also most likely cause a massive poisoning of the waters of the Thames and a severe disruption of the lives of any marine fauna in the vicinity. I also am concerned that the mechanism of such a death would not provide a sufficient amount of pain and suffering for such a hideous person. Be that as it may, I do applaud your perspective and post nevertheless.
It's a terrible shame that once-lofty and worthwhile goals have deteriorated in such a way as is shown in this thread's article (s), as evidenced by these far more concrete and proper proposals from only last year. How quickly (some) people seem to forget.
