Which is why the various complainers should thank God Bush is President. He simply will not listen to all this Staus Quo nonsense from the Political Establishment. He is a results oriented guy and will simply tune out their nonsense and do what needs to be done.

Very True, MNJohnie. Which is why all this MSM whines.

Couple of days ago, Russert was on Imus, when the news came that Guantanamo general to head Nato.

Imus asked him about that & Russert says, that 's admn's poke on the world opinion. They never grow, it seems.

CNN initiated it yesterday... they had a (Lebanese?)American on the telephone stating over and over again... “We don't know what to do!” She spoke with a very thick accent and must have stated those EXACT words at least 4 times.

At the end of the call... one commentator looks at the other and says... “The utter chaos of the situation sure comes across in that phonecall.”

Do you notice that Newt throws out "facts" with no attribution. I have never fact checked a transcript on him. Maybe I should.

Go for it.  You'll find that he knows his stuff.

You can disagree with his opinions, but you'll come up dry if you challenge his facts.

Well Kerry also has something in common with Newt and Dubya, 180. Kerry won't sign his. (Dubya's weight and Newt's IQ)

###### Washington Post writer liar Walter Pincus' advice to MSM - "refuse to publish or broadcast any statements made by the President or any other government official". As if people believe MSM for news. (Look next story)

^^^^^

DBM has been trying to do this since the primary contest in 1999. Then they report that "Bush isn't getting his message out."

#81, you are right and it is always the way it is,some things never change. Russert, and all the DBM never ask the hard, probing, legitimate questions of these lightweights in Congress, and instead of making them stronger it really weakens them. They might as well be a Teacher giving the students(demorats) a test and giving them the answers in advance. When they are faxed all the talking points by the DNC that is really what they are doing. The Pubbies are always scrutinized, and the DBM makes sure they have only the Pubbies on that do not stand up very well to scrutiny like Trent Lott. How many times do you see Jeff Sessions,John Kyl,Saxby Chambliss or anyone that is really good on any of these Shows? They want the Egotistical old Goats that talk out of both sides of their mouths, like Hagel,Lugar,Susan Collins, etc. so they can make them look really stupid.

LOL. Yes. The WH has already announced the August schedule generally. Are they going to try to take credit for a correct prediction about something everyone already knows?

Now Chrissy is talking about Rudy for President

Looks like he's throwing McCain over board

Dan says he wouldn't rule out Rudy, because Hellary will be a strong candidate

Novak: Haven't spoken to primary source since interview.

Novak wrote a column ( Colin Powell's Legacy ) which includes lots of quotes by Powell. So, assuming Novak doesn't change his story again (big assumption), and assuming Novak didn't get the quotes from Nexis/Lexus , then Powell can be ruled out as the primary source.

Did you pick up the fact that Harlow is now an adviser for NBC?

Newt says what this is is actually a world war and starts ticking off the evidence.

Newt really needs to reign his instinct to be a media whore. He is a professional Historian for god sake. This is the stupidest nonsense for any Historian to be uttering. This sort of Chicken Little Bombast really, really, really undercuts the intellectually and political credibility of the various Conservatives who are saying it. When this all settles out in a month or so with no where near any of the doom and glooms hysteric predictions being any where near accurate, these Conservatives are going to take a massive PR hit.

This is NOT WW3. OK everyone? This is vermin control or international gang warfare. Nazi German could conquerer whole countries and threatened the very structure of the International Political system. Even combining all the various 3 world thugs involved here none of them come any where near Nazi Germany's weight militarily, politically or economically.

Then there is the Military disparity between the US and all the various rouge states and terrorist groups. If push comes to shove we can annihilate their whole society in a very brief span of time. They can sucker punch, kill some of our people but NOT threaten our national survival. This sort of "World War 3" talk comes across and hysteric and bombastic. Conservatives should stop it.

I have always theorized that Val was on the books as undercover because there is probably a pay differential, and the Wilsons are basicly cheaters in every phase of their lives. She met Wilson in DC in 1997, married in '98, had kids there in 2000, raised them in DC. She was not planning to go overseas!

Chrissy says the NY SC decision about gay marriage may have helped Rudy on that issue

David Brooks says that the Republican Party is disorganized and unsure of themselves .. it's not clear who could be our candidate

In three minutes - Newt catalogs the world. What intellect the man has.

Normally he does, such a pity he is not displaying any of it with this Chicken Little "3rd World War" squawking.

Newt is going to be the "Politician who cried wolf" in about 30 to 45 days when none of this comes any where near being as serious as he is claiming. Newt can pretty much can kiss 2008 good bye now. He just moved himself into the Pat Buchanan Tin Foil Hat zone with this.

If you think about it, that scene is also incorporated into the Rocky movies, except again rocky was the winner.

Yeah, they substituted Hulk Hogan for Andre.  It was in Rocky 3?  Hogan told the story about that and that it was based on the Wepner/Andre incident in the Biography Channel episode on him.  He broke his connection with the WWF at the time to do that movie and he had to go work for another, lesser, promoter for a while after that IIRC.  As I recall the story, he got such good publicity after the movie came out, along with some other acting and publicity, the McMann (sp?) decided to take him back.
