Did anyone hear something about a rocket hitting Israel that had all the hallmarks of being made in Syria?
Have any of you noticed that when Israelis are killed the media reports it as "8 killed in Haifa". This is very ambiguous. When Arabs are killed the media reports as "36 CIVILIANS killed, 12 CHILDREN in Lebanon". A little bit more detail for the bleeding hearts of the world. It's sickening
They get it from being professional 'refugees' and supporting a lunatic culture for their entire lives. Those 'poor souls' might have become perfectly content Jordinians or even Americans had they not been allowed to feed their delusions on the world's welfare and the UN's not particularly subtle anti-semitism.
What's past is everyone's fault, not just those terrorist/refugees;
what's needed to end it is likely to be tough cookies for grannie.
yes, the ball bearing equipped models.
Fundamentally Freund: Finish the job in Lebanon

(IsraelNN.com) Here's a pop quiz for you.
Who said the following: "We'll take all the necessary measures to end the Katyushas. The fate and the situation of our residents is at the top of our concerns. Hizbullah has brought a tragedy upon Lebanon ... It will cause great damage to Lebanon. If the government of Lebanon wants to ensure its existence, it must remove the hand of terrorist organizations from the trigger."
If you said Ehud Olmert or even Ehud Barak nice try, but incorrect.
In fact, the quote dates back to April 12, 1996, and was made by then-Prime Minister Shimon Peres

Agreed.
However, before Israel takes any action that could push Syria into a first strike, Israel needs reasonable assurance that they can meet that threat. Such assurance obviously needs to include threats from all of Syria's military allies.
Once exception to the idea that Israel cannot strike first would be a situation where it is obvious that one or more of their enemies intended to strike first, but Israel beat them to it.
There is precedent for this.
Well, an article answered my own question:
Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz said on Sunday afternoon that the more advanced Fajar missiles that were fired with a barrage of other rockets at Haifa on Sunday morning, killing eight people, were made in Syria.
I don't think that was the exact wording of the document they signed, but in effect, yes.
Al-Jazeera Arab Network News Team Detained in Haifa
18:15 Jul 16, '06 / 20 Tammuz 5766
IsraelNN.com) A news team from the Al-Jazeera Arab news network was detained on Sunday after broadcasting specific information against military censorship regulations.
The networks Israel correspondent, Elias Karram, was part of the team that was detained after broadcasting the attack live from an observation point near the scene.
Media have been forbidden to convey specific information about the location of landing sites of rockets fired by Hizbullah in order not to inadvertently assist the terrorist group to refine its aiming at Israeli targets.
Until now, the Arab news network, which has reported from Israel for years, has accepted the security regulations. On Sunday, the news team was warned against broadcasting again without censorship.

That may have been the one that struck the Israeli ship in the Gulf. I'm not sure if this is the one you refer to. Anyone?
Fox has reported it several times.
It had ballbearings in it which is a sign of Syria. Mike Tobin was on FOX earlier showing the ballbearings and what they had done to various fixtures in the train station where it hit. He also mentioned that ballbearings were a sign that it was Syrian made.
yes - Tobin on Fox reported it
here is an article:

Just had a frightening thought....
What if Bill and Hillary Clinton went over there on their own and appeared to bring about a ceasefire? You know....like Dirtbag Durbin did a year or so ago?
That would be a catastrophe for the United States in the not so very long run.
Excellent point! I think we need to keep track of this type of thing and make sure we mention it to people we discuss this with.
LOL
What I'd really like to see is the number of Hizbollah casualties. 100s? 1000s?
