Zec 12:6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

Wonder if something has just happened we don't know about.
I think they are being heavily prodded at this moment in time.
Soon to be heavier, if certain recent reports are correct.
Let them feel the fire, and let them learn what it is to face self induced genocide.
I think it will be an enlightening experience for them.
Impossible...if you saw the videos of refugees pouring into Gaza from Egypt
Thanks Karl. Glad we are finally putting together live threads on this. Lots of information to digest lately, it's nice to have it centralized.
INTO Gaza from Eygpt?
Illegal immigrants....Hahahaha!
lol! :-)
I should think more like you, yanno, spread the blame around a bit....;-)
Well, think it might come soon. Fox just reported Israelis telling people in south leb to get out of their homes because a ground assault is about to come.
Does anyone know if Israel has anyhing like an AWACS and/or a JSTARS? Any chance that the US is giving them help from on high (no not that high, just from maybe 40,000 feet)?
When Hezbollah starts to move those rocket launchers north they should be sitting ducks if the Israelis have a good view of the battlefield and good C&C links to their fighter-bombers.
They were returning to their homes in Gaza after Israel shut the gates a few weeks ago.
Uh, Nikita and his boys didn't believe in 70 virgins for them in the hereafter and didn't use a religious ideology as a basis for their insanity.
yeah, those would work. note this comment:
"...and the weapons have been stored in bunkers in three locations in the Bekaa Valley"
any stories about bombings in the Bekaa valley? most of the media coverage shows the Beirut sites hit. I guess there isn't much media in the Bekaa Valley to provide coverage.
how's it getting in & what else is coming in with it?

Syria starts sending aid to Lebanon
DAMASCUS, July 16 (KUNA) -- Syria started sending aid, in the form of food and medication, to Lebanon to help its people face the hardships caused by Israel's aggression.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Sunday, Syria's Health Ministry commenced sending aid consisting of first-aid kits and necessary medications on Saturday as requested by Lebanese Health Minister Mohammad Khalifa, noting that today's shipment will include milk and baby food.
Syrian aid to Lebanon comes after Kuwait's announcement on Saturday of establishing and air-bridge to deliver different aid to Lebanon. (end) tk.

Ok, you worry that this man will not stay the course.
My worry, backed up by all recent indications to date, is that he is prone to escalate the kidnapping of three persons into a global crisis, and that he may not have the seasoning necessary to walk the very fine line between rsponding intelligently, and stepping too far over the line to ensure what is now, only a possibility.
He gave the Syrians a 72 hour ultimatum.
What say we suspend this discussion until the man is no longer bound by honor to avoid striking his enemies?
This is the problem with weak leaders, they have a tendency to over-react or puss out all together. However, this golbal crisis is a long time coming and this may be the spark. Other regional entities may see this as their opportunity to realize certain ambitions. Nobody is paying attention, but India has called Pakistan to the floor over the train bombings (and we have an Olmertesq leader in India who may very well over-react also), The North Koreans out right rejected (in record time i might add) the UN resolution and we know they could put a lot of steel on target in short order visa vi Seoul. Castro is dying, maybe he has a going away present, Chavez is . . . well Chavez, China-Taiwan, And Russia made a veiled threat the other day against Georgia. Worlds a mess right now, and i smell trouble

The IDF on Sunday mobilized a reserve infantry division in preparation for a possible ground
incursion into south Lebanon, The Jerusalem Post has learned. The move was intended as the

The division was setting up command posts along the northern border, while tanks and armored
personnel carriers were being transported northward.
Interesting..
Interesting indeed, in that artillery is already in place, apparantly without the usual security elements accompanying them.
This observation highlights, to me at least, the seriousness with which the Israelis view the continuation of the rocket attacks.
That's three. Port of Haifa closed, Reserves called up, artillery forward without screens.
Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence....etc. etc.
"...IAI Phalcon 707
Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) developed its Phalcon system for Israeli defence forces and for export. Airborne Early Warning, Command and Control (AEWC&C) systems play a major role on the modern battlefield by providing real-time intelligence and command and control needed to achieve and maintain air superiority over the combat area and to enable surveillance of borders in peacetime. The world's most advanced AEWC&C system, the PHALCON, was developed and produced by ELTA using Active Phased Array Electronic Scanning Technology rather than a mechanically rotating antenna (rotodome) used by current AWACS systems, giving PHALCON greater operational flexibility and performance by several orders of magnitude. The Phalcon AEW&C aircraft is based on four sensors: phased-array radar, phased-array IFF, ESM/ELINT and CSM/COMINT. A unique fusion technology continuously cross-relates the data gathered by all sensors. When one of the sensors reports a detection, the system automatically initiates an active search of the complementary sensors..."
