The IDF has already said they'll be employing ground forces across the border.

Actually, the IDF hasn't announced that there would be an all-out ground assault yet. I'd be willing to bet that there are IDF special forces in South Lebanon already, though.

I guess i'm a little confused. We are talking about IDF boots on the ground in Lebanon and not US boots correct? Or do these guys all think an IDF invasion of Lebanon is a foregone conclusion.

That particular war appears to be over--at least the principals seem willing to suspend offensive operations against one another.

IDF Reserve Infantry Division Called Up

(IsraelNN.com) An IDF reserve infantry division was called up on Sunday to prepare for a possible ground operation in south Lebanon, according to The Jerusalem Post.

Armored personnel carriers (APCs) and tanks were reportedly moving north and command posts were being set up along the northern border.

Chief of General Staff Dan Halutz denied, however, that the army was planning to invade south Lebanon – yet.
