Yeesh...INN: 1350 missiles/ rockets so far....Commander of Northern Command, Major Gen Udi Adam gave a deadline to Lebanese in southern Lebanon 2 hours to leave their home. Israel will be attacking southern Lebanon in 2 hours.
That's a heck of a way to run a war...tell the enemy when you're going to attack.

However, I prefer not to be lectured to about why someone is considered half Jewish when in Judaism there is no such thing.
Do I have to say for a third time that technically, from a religious viewpoint you are correct, but common usage-wise, you aren't? Just go around to any of your non-Jewish friends (I'm sure you must have some) and ask them if a person is born of one parent that is Jewish and one who is not, whether your friend would say that person is 1/2 Jewish. I think you need a reality check as to how the word Jewish is commonly used among the "masses". I'm not saying that this isn't a usage based on ignorance of the Jewish religion. It is. But it's a misconception that the vast majority of non-Jews have. No value judgment attached, just the way it is, unless you choose to ignore that which is true.
