Now don't get touchy. You know that the way I speak of whether someone is of "Jewish heritage" if that makes you happier, is the way most non-Jewish people look at it. I'm not at all alone in this. Lots of company. I think you want to see this negatively regardless, which I can't do anything about. What you can't deny is that Wesley Clark's biological father was Jewish.

I didn't deny that his father was Jewish. I was trying to explain why he isn't Jewish. You want to belabor the point, that's your prerogative.

However, I prefer not to be lectured to about why someone is considered half Jewish when in Judaism there is no such thing. If his father was Jewish and his mother was not, he is not Jewish, If his mother was Jewish and his father was not, he is Jewish.

You either are open to being corrected or you are not. Do as you wish.
