I thought it was a Photoshop too. Amazing. After what he spewed tonight, I doubt many of us will be beating down the doors to buy it.
Need to photochop that to read "Major BOOB"! Looks like the subtitle could use some work too.

I think that she does a fabulous job, but I can remember being a little disappointed when she made some comments around Oscar time about how much she liked Brokeback Mountain. She said it was a wonderful story.
Oh well, anybody who makes it in the field of broadcast journalism is bound to have some liberal views. All in all, she appears to spend a decent amount of time researching the subject matter that she interviews on and doesn't let the libs get away with their crap.
Oh please. Kick syria and irans ass and I'm sure the Lord will be more than pleased without having to call down the Rapture on us.
[RAANANA NOW! was informed by the City government that Raanana will soon issue an announcement regarding the issue of bomb shelters and security concerns regarding the current situation. When this paper asked when this will be issued, we were told, "as soon as possible."]
Update from JPost:
Security forces have instructed residents in the Gush Dan area - from Tel Aviv north - to raise their level of awareness.
If rockets were to start falling in the area, sirens would be sounded and residents would be instructed to enter secure rooms, bomb shelters, or if neither were available, to lie flat on the ground.
Per the Jerusalem Post, Hizbullah has missiles that can hit Tel Aviv and central Israel. According to IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz, Hizbullah has missiles with a range of 70 kilometers, "and perhaps a little more." Another military official said Saturday the group was also believed to have longer-range missiles that could hit Tel Aviv. With that range, the rockets could also potentially reach Hadera and Netanya. Halutz could not say with certainty the number of missiles in that range that Hizbullah has.
Brig.-Gen. Rami Shmueli added that Hizbullah had "several" missiles that could reach the central area of Israel, including Tel Aviv. "They haven't used these yet due to our deterrent action and their own calculations."
I agree. Julie B. also appears to be extremely bright.
Agreed.
Some people can't seem to understand there has been catastrophes and famines and disease and wars since man picked up the first club.
Battlespace Preparation: What we are witnessing in southern Lebanon is concurrent with actions designed to prep a battlefield for the insertion of ground forces
By blockading the coast, neutralizing Beiruts airport, and damaging roads and bridges into and out of Lebanon, the IDF has cut off Hezbollahs supply routes by land, sea, and air, and blocked all lines of escape.
Do Olmert and Peretz have the cojones? I doubt it. Its very much a graduated (limited) response that's being sensationalized by the news channels. Imagine bombing buildings in the middle of the night. Oh how nasty of those big bad Israelis. This latest attack in Gaza is a little funny to me.
Ariel Sharon tried to take em out in 1982 but the United States stopped the ground offensvie short of taking out Arafat. That's history. President Bush insists on "restraint" and Israel is following the lead with the limited attacks.
Between all the talk of cease fire within the next 24 hours and Olmert's history for being a pansy, i'm not sure whether Israel will take advantage of the "battlespace preparation" purportedly being done. With each hour that passes i become less and less confident the IDF will go into Southern Lebanon and take care of business. I have a question for the board - How far does this conflict go (with analysis)?
For me, I still think there is a good chance the IDF will be allowed to deal Hizbullah a death blow. Condi Rice was on the talkshow circuit today and she actually sounded more like herself as the National Security Advisor rather than a foggy bottom shmoe. She said a prolonged conflict may be necessary. That's big talk from the state dept. biggest official. I believe the political cover is there from the U.S. so long as the IDF doesn't take down the Lebanses govt. and doesn't take the fight to Iran or Syria (unless or course there is direct intervention or some serious escalation by Hizbullah, like a Zevdal missile attack into TelAviv with its 1000 lb warhead, or an attack on Dimona or oil refinery/petrochemical plant in Hafia). Olmert needs to be thrown out on his head if he accepts a cease fire under conditions less than what was previously outlined (return soldiers, stop rocket attacks, dismantle Hizbullah and remove them from the border) particularly when he a) seemingly has US political cover and surprisingly little Arab street protest b) mobilized the IDF (historically not a symbolic move in Israel and c) shut down Hafia port and closed down many businesses in the north. Let's get it done IDF!!

Al Jazeera in Israel accuses Israel Radio of incitement
By Yoav Stern, Haaretz Correspondent
Al Jazeera said Israel Radio's Reshet Bet is inciting against the Qatar-based television network, after a team of its staff members was arrested Sunday morning in Acre.
Reshet Bet reported Sunday morning that the Al Jazeera network aired live footage of the scene of Hezbollah strikes on Haifa, which the station's broadcasters said helps Hezbollah adjust the aim of the rockets it fires on Israel.
Soon after the broadcast, Israel Police detained for questioning Al Jazeera correspondent Elias Karam and the team working with him. The team was released after an hour of questioning.
Al Jazeera manager Walid al-Omri wrote a letter to Israel Radio manager Yoni Ben Menachem in response, saying, "The incident had no basis... We view this incitement as very grave and demand it end."
Reshet Bet has not responded to Al Jazeera's allegations.
Al Jazeera, the most popular television station in the Arab world, has been working around the clock in recent days to provide coverage of the violence in Israel and Lebanon. Al Jazeera sources said on Sunday that the network strictly obeys all instructions it receives on what is permitted and forbidden to air.
"The same images [aired Sunday] were shown on other channels without any response," the sources said.
Wants more talking!@!!!!!
But someoine made a command decision to fporgo the panel...hmmm...anyone know what happened there?
Evidently, no one has ever said that to a lib.
Julie has only been with Fox for a little over a year, but she seems to be getting some serious airtime. She is very good with breaking news-doesn't get tongue-tied and flustered like some of the other anchors have been known to do. During the past few weeks, I have really been impressed with her interviewing abilities.
Brit was not on tonight, but Juan made his usual lib/dim statements. Part of the panel was about the Wilsons. I really wanted to see all of it again.
Both Hamas and Hezballah inject themselves into the civilian population -- often sacrificing their own families willingly. The was a tactic of the VC in Southeast Asia except the VC would intimidate unrelated villagers and then split during the day, only to return at night. In any case, it was successful in both cases as the MSM is a sucker for dead kid photos.
The thing that frustrates me is that no one speaks up about the moral implications of this, just as the don't criticize the morality of the Madrassas or the so-called charities.
David Lee Miller of Fox is in Gaza City. They are en route to the scene. The building was still standing but has suffered severe structural damage.

I would hope there would be severe structural damage. Maybe they don't make bombs like they used to.
